  He was a very intelligent person and didn't think much of Hitler. I think it is safe to say you are just restated my opinion that science and government will get in bed together even though they are operating on the same goal with different motive. I personally have no problem with the guy, he wa a nazi, then he wasn't, now he's dead, and we have been to the moon. Its all good.

  in 2002 a former SS officer at Peenemünde told the BBC that von Braun had regularly worn the SS uniform to official meetings. He began as an Untersturmführer (Second lieutenant) and was promoted three times by Himmler, the last time in June 1943 to SS-Sturmbannführer (major).

  Discussing the RC with a friend and my JW wife was listening.

  i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

  my wife was in another part of the house but heard my phone ring and so she came to listen, i did not realize this, because when the phone rang i closed two doors between myself and my wife.

  she opened the first door and started listening to the conversation.

  I feel for you. Seeing the fruitages of the cult never gets easy. It creates a huge void in a relationship. The most nauseating part is how just by you thinking differently than them and being so horrible to express your thinking, you are persecuting them and victimizing them. When they are screaming at you. Trying to censor you. Trying to shun you. And you are pinned as the persecutor. Sorry my friend.

  Im feeling depressed

  i've recently turned 16 and i guess life is just starting to hit me like a ton of bricks.

  What do you love? not for work, but what are you excited to talk about? Aligning your passions with your career is something a lot of us raised in never were encouraged to do, you are young and have a chance to do it.

  i am still processing the information of everything that has emerged.

  i do not plan to cover it all here, but i would like to point out that it is patently obvious that some of the wt representatives provided misleading information.

  usually their double speak, and elusive answers keep the real lies hidden, in this case, they seem prepared. They are not only trashing them with their own words and policies, but with the bible. The GB is getting schooled with bible versus from a secular source!

  I don't think it really means anything, just that when someone (or group) really wants things, they will make concessions. When they CIA needed the help of Cosa Nostra during WW2, they had no problem asking them. I don't really expect governments, businesses, or alphabet agencies to approach things from what we consider "ethical". they have a job to do, and they do it. Its a whore business, its just what it is, I personally lose no sleep over these things
