  Does Anyone Still Believe in God?

  do any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?

  even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

  the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

  Large Increase in Trolley Witnessing

  when the org implements its bethelite "genocide" and demotes many members of the "worldwide order of special full-time servants of jehovahs witnesses" into lowly regular pioneers, many more trollies will have to be found in order for such ones to rack up their required monthly hours.. how many are actually going to be shocked by this into waking up?

  I would think the org would manipulate ways to stretch hours, and make it easier to appear there is growth. The carts are a good example of this. Instead of grueling door to door, just stand and drink coffee, and take selfies for 8 hours. Shit, if they had this when I was a teenager I probably would have got a lot more hours lol , lets be honest though, no I wouldn't.

  What I wonder, is a lot of super zealous people find an hour "out" in what used to be the RBC, RDC, and now LDC. I know because my pioneer spouse used to rack up her hours doing medial work for the RBC in new york city. It was quite the supplementation to her hours, also many other pioneers did likewise. I mean wouldn't you rather count your jesus panda petting points that way instead of pissing people off at the door?

  But with the construction rumors, a lot of people could be losing their hour piggy bank. They will have to go in real service more now. I expect they are going to make it easier and easier to count hours from here going forward. Lets face it, if this was our grandparents cult, the hours would not be so much. They busted their asses.

  On a side note, once my wife was so excited for making her time for the year, two of our elders, (one of which was a heavy at bk bethel) came to her and said basically she counted to much of her time in RBC, and she didn't make her time. She was utterly crushed. I felt so bad for her, and disgusted at the petty rules of this cult. Just like jesus would have done right?

  How the college educated/employed "weak" JW's will soon be "used"

  once these laid off bethelites are released from their duties, where will they go?.

  how many will turn to their "spiritually weak" families for a place to live, a meal or financial aid?

  the ones who have been criticized over the years for attending college and getting a good job may soon become an asset to the ones who have been relieved of their duties .

  My True Identity

  i write under the screen name the governor.

  why i chose this screen name was i felt strongly at the time (and still do) that the charterer itself from the walking dead tv series that is called the governor had a lot of qualities shared with the governing body.

  both had narcissism blowing out of their ears, both oppressed individuals for their gain whether it was for power and profits and both the governing body and the governor were able to reel people into their trap by charming outsiders in and giving them big promises that could never be fulfilled.

  the "pre-letter" for the october 4 2015 letter is now posted to the jw.org for elders and it matches what had been leaked.. looks like we can confirm that the preliminary letter and the main letter are legitimate.. unbelievable!.

  Coloring book is a hyperbole

  Just trying to illustrate how juvenile it sounds like they are heading.

  Our Kingdom Ministry is being replaced by a new four-color, eight-page monthly publication entitled Our Christian Life and Ministry—Meeting Workbook (mwb). This publication is intended for Jehovah’s Witnesses and for those who regularly attend our meetings. It outlines the weekly meeting schedule and features artwork designed to make your personal reading of the Bible more meaningful. It is a workbook that prompts you to make personal notes. No doubt you will enjoy reviewing the January 2016 issue of the Life and Ministry Meeting Workbook when you download an electronic copy from jw.org or the JW Library app or receive a printed copy through the congregation. Since the workbook will not include a section for announcements, congregations will be informed of monthly literature offers by means of letters from the branch office.

  So crazy... the names of the meeting and the parts were so bizarre a part of me really felt it could be a very well constructed hoax, but that was the only thing that made me feel that in my gut.

  Looks like its real. The thinking people are going to start to feel insulted by this cult with their coloring book and stupid fundie/mega chruchy titles

  i keep seeing references to the 750 million in sales of the nyc properties and confusion around the apparent cash flow problems of the wtbt society.

  here's the reality.

  if they went, to a bank and asked for loans for the buildings here's what a bank would say, "absolutely.

  they can't barrow money against the buildings, the money buildings are what is left in BK and those are all in the middle of sales. From my understanding they have been sold just the time to take care of everything is long, the properties should be handed over in 17' to the buyers.

  The rumor of their credit downgrade and bad investing could be very much true and they have lost financial flexibility.

  I agree, it's not going into specifics about doctrine etc, just the general path she took. The more of this that is out there that lurkers and doubters allow themselves to watch, its going to erode the JW idea of what and apostate is.
