_Morpheus, whats the over-under on how many pages this is gonna go to?
There is zero evidence to make me believe there is a god, and the idea of a Creator/god seems even more far fetched. This is not a claim that there is no creator/catalyst whatever. Just belief there isn't.
Who created god?
Who is god?
Is he gods?
What is he?
Is it a she? an it? a them? An unintelligent random force? A computer? an alien? YHWH?
what what what???
I can say the god of the bible is utter gibberish, as for whats unknown thats all it is, unknown.
No one should be claiming belief in something they themselves can't even describe if asked.

Why doesn't God need a creator, while the Universe does?
by Bloody Hotdogs! ini asked this question of a jw that called on me yesterday: "if the universe requires a creator, why doesn't god?
if the universe must have a beginning, why doesn't god?
he claims to have an answer, but it must wait for next time he calls.. i'm hoping you guys can give me a heads-up as to what he will say.

In the end when their mind turns off the answer will be "because the bible says so" thats always at the end of the circular reasoning before it starts again at the beginning. -

Paranoia after today's Watchtower
by Truthexplorer inboy oh boy did i feel paranoid at today's wt.
not only are we to watch our associations outside of the congregation, but also watch our associations 'within' the congregation.
this was emphasised by the wt study conductor.

I happened to be attending where some bethel heavies attend this weekend. I noticed there was a lot of pressure in each of their comments that eluded to total information control. Like constantly plugging the broadcasting. The jw movies. They can't come out and say it, but they are getting close to it. Don't look or listen to anything unless it's from jworg. Scary -

the problem with you, apostates, is that your doubts were not genuine
by never a jw inin page 10 of the correspondence guidelines, in the section of apostasy" i found the following:.
one who has sincere doubts orquestions should be kindly aided inthe spirit of galatians.... i am forced to conclude that many of you didn't get any aid because your doubts were fake.
so according to the wt manual, your main sin may have not been doubting, but faking having doubts.

I took 4 dislikes for you pumpkin... a record @viv
I think even more often than viviane is right, its most funny just to watch people have too much ego, or whatever you want to call it to just keep going and going and going, then they get frustrated, then it just gets silly. People get on the internet and they lose the ability to say "you know you are right, I never thought of it that way" lol
cofty doesn't strike me as a pumpkin, although definitely a part of the rational-legion. @djs

Construction Halts & other cutbacks - Here's what I think happened
by Listener into get to the point straight away i think the crane accident that occurred at warwick was a significant catalyst that has caused the org.
to change its plans suddenly.. list of assumptions, not all of them are validated.
- there was a serious crane accident that occurred at warwick approx.

From I believe some of the building in bk have been sold technically for a whole but the actual handover takes a lot of time. Like every thing tied up in escrow for a few years. They may have been forced to hurry up Warwick because that time is coming up fast and they need to be out of bk -

Intriguing - but Unsubstantiated!
by The Searcher inaccording to one source on a western european 'apostate' website, the org's plan is to abandon the name "jehovah's witnesses" in the future, and replace it with "worshippers of jehovah.".

the gist of the account appears to be a repeat of rutherford's re-branding and debunking of old predictions made by the previous shower of fakers.

I gotta hand it to them, whether or not this is true, they have done a pretty good job of migrating cult members into a different religion. Couldn't this be one of the strongest cases for those choosing to stay in as brainwashed?
