Herd was going in circles saying that the growth is accelerating so fast that the have to spend their resources wisely (which all of us know is total BS). He made an illustration to a "head of a household" who must make decision on how to spend the resources available to the family, out of what they have. So the perception will be not that they have lost a bunch of money and are in trouble, its that they are just more wisely spending what they have.

Well I didn't watch all of it, but I did watch a good deal. It reminded me of the times I actually physically attended in the past.
Lets start with AM3. Really I didn't feel there was anything too notable about his delivery. I would say less than standard AM3. But when the two clowns came out (helpers), my stomach really churned. I have a feeling these people are really the ones "driving the chariot" so to speak. The whole thing was strange, wearing the headset mics, the way they talked, it is cultish and gross on another level. The helper on the left looks like serial killer, and the guy on the right looks like some right wing fundamentalist senator from the bible belt. It was very telling to hear him say how much he loved the name "digging for spiritual gems" or whatever the hell its called. I bet he came up with that stupid name while digging in his butt. What is happening to your religion when words like "study" and "school" are replaced with "digging"? really lame.
Letts part really blew my mind, and not in a good way. So he start out this this "clarification" talk on the exile of from babylon with a jab at reason. So ironic because this is the one major teaching of theirs that needs clarification the worst, as it is so factually WRONG. And they dogmatically and arrogantly refuse to acknowledge reality. So he begins by saying "when was the exile? if you say 607 youre right!" Massive fail right off the bat. He then proceeds to go into some convoluted diatribe about spiritual exile with dates (1918, 1919 etc). This is what is important to note, first of all he is clarifying something I would wager most every witness 1. doesn't know about and 2. doesn't care about. First of all its every changing nonsense they made up in the first placed based on nothing more than their own wacky ideas about bible prophecy.
So here is what chaps my ass. They blow all this hot air "refining" some BS witnesses didn't even understand/know/realize in the first place, just to replace it with more of the same, some overly complex, made up, crock that makes everyone clap even though they have no damn idea what its all about. All of this wasted energy while glossing right over an obvious LIE and falsehood about 607 that could be so easily and logically be fixed! So this clarification they are thanking the desert god for is really just an insignificant bunch of gibberish that becomes a smoke screen, and illusion to the weak minded that something actually was said , and something significant changed.
Also the excuses made by Sam Herd over the letting going of bethelites and special pioneers. Making a point to say this isn't for financial reasons... LIE. Also when he said bethelites would be "invited to serve in the field" have you ever heard of such a double tongued way of saying fired?
I couldn't stomach much more of it, all i can say is that the more lies you tell, the more intricate maze and web of BS you weave and people will start noticing.

Need advice
by Darkknight757 inhi.i've been pouring over this site for the past few days looking for some advice and i hope there is someone here that can help a guy out.
i'm desperate.....short bio: i came into the organization after high school and shortly after married a wonderful girl who was born-in.we have been happily married now for nearly 20 years and things were well until 2015 hit.
by the way, i currently serve as an elder and have the ""privilege"" of being the "watchtower overseer".. either here nor there, we were told we would never have children but late last year my wife became prego!!

Take a deep breath, and first realize you have time to collect yourself and plan all your next decisions out. Proceed carefully, educate yourself like you have been doing, when the stress of waking up gets to you come here and rant, and find some good friends here, that will help a lot -

This is how much I believe in what you folks are calling 'God'
The gospel according to my homeboy, Xenu
To cure overpopulation in his Galactic Confederacy, Xenu drugged and paralyzed billions of people after first summoning them for tax inspections, and froze them in ethylene glycol (antifreeze). Then he flew the paralysed people to Teegeack (the name Earth had then, according to LRH) in interstellar rocket planes, which looked like DC-8s, but without jet engines. He stacked them round volcanoes and killed them with hydrogen bombs lowered into the volcanoes.
Take that in for a second.
In Scientology, people are surrounded, covered even, by souls called thetans which cause people to use drugs, get depressed and enjoy Tom Cruise movies. Xenu didn't want the thetans to reincarnate, so he forced them to watch confusing films with horrible lies for thirty-six days. The poor thetans were told they were God, the Devil and Christ. They were all these things together. And they were confused so they believed it. Then the souls left the cinema and started clumping together. And today these souls are clumped round you and me and everyone else. And we can’t get rid of them unless we pay the Scientologists thousands and thousands of pounds, dollars, or euros. It's worth noting that belief in this movie story would require that Christianity be considered nothing more than a delusion picked-up while watching a movie. This contradicts the Scientology claim that their business is compatible with Christianity.
Unfortunately for the Evil Lord Xenu, L. Ron Hubbard made a wonderful discovery: once you have signed over your life savings to the Church of Scientology and gone through thousands of hours of "auditing" sessions with an E-Meter, you can be "clear" of all the "engrams" affecting your subconscious (reactive mind). There are many of these "engrams" stored in each person's brain and auditing just keeps on uncovering more of them going all the way back through all your past lives to the time of the Evil Lord Xenu. This is just the first step. Having been freed from the reactive mind, the "clear" can then go on to become an Operating Thetan, with immense powers to control space, matter, and time.
To become an Operating Thetan, of course, means giving more money to the Church of Scientology and going through several more levels of training. Only during the OTIII (Operating Thetan III) training is a person deemed fit to be told of the above story about Xenu, ethylene glycol, and the volcanoes. OTIII is a very dangerous process and the information revealed in it is deadly to somebody not prepared to handle it. Anyone who has read the above without first going through all the levels is at grave risk of death or pneumonia. Oops, you already read it, didn't you? If you believe all that, Scientology has a "bridge" to sell you, and it ain't cheap.

In rational terms, logic and evidence appears to dictate that there almost certainly is no requirement for God to exist in the monotheistic sense, and it can be argued that the existence of God leads to logical contradictions.

There is zero evidence to make me believe there is a god, and the idea of a Creator/god seems even more far fetched. This is not a claim that there is no creator/catalyst whatever. Just belief there isn't.
Who created god?

Is it a she? an it? a them? An unintelligent random force? A computer? an alien? YHWH?

I can say the god of the bible is utter gibberish, as for whats unknown thats all it is, unknown.
