Freedom in admitting the truth...
by _Morpheus infor those that lurk or havnt decided to post yet.... living a lie is difficult.
nobody would likely disagree with that... many of us lived or are living the wt lie for the sake of friends or family.
it can eat at us and put us in situations where we frame half truths, try to find tactful way to avoid telling people what we really think.. there is great freedom in being able to admit truths.

Happy Veterans Day! (America)
by freemindfade inpeople have varied and strong feelings about politics and wars, but you can't deny the courage a sacrifice of our veterans.
too often they do not get the honor they deserve.
in this country once they come home their sacrifice and heroism is too quickly forgotten.

I know you feel super righteous shadow playing quarter back from the sidelines, but you really have no room to speak on this. No one is denying the ugliness of war or how often the motives and those insulated from suffering cause them. But speak to some ww2 vets. A lot of them saw a maniac bulldozing across Europe and were moved to act. People call them the greatest generation not because they had or started two world wars but because of the stuff they were made out of. And the ways since whatever pollitical nonsense was going on in the background it's no reason to disrespect those who suffered because of it. -

Shadow you are a coward. And these vets you are disrespecting have seen a lot worse things than any pictures you can google. Yep they have a way better perspective on it even than you, can you imagine? Probably not. You say we are jwish for acknowledging vets? I think demonizing them because of a war they may or may not have been in is more jwish but what do I know. Go on and keep disrespecting them on here from the comfort of your computer because a lot died for you to have the right to be the way you are. -

Shadow veterans day is not celebrating war or the atrocities associated with it, but the fine people who have served. War is awful, what does that have to do with the individuals??? Especially those who sacrificed their lives against genocidal hate efforts of Adolf Hitler for example? have you known any? I have known many and they were amazing people. you are making yourself look ridiculous by trying to make a self righteous display. By lashing out against veterans you are proving nothing except you are trolling for attention. -

Shadow that's pretty lame. Have you ever seen two German and American or Japanese and American vets from both sides now up I'm years crying and reminiscing on the times when they were trying to kill each other. They are warriors the end. Suffering is not limited to one side or the other but rarely are the Warriors evil people. (Unless say an ss officers those dudes were bad news). And I don't think the raw deal dealt to native Americans has anything to do with vets. Japanese. German. American most the guys that were in the trenches were looking just young men. You can't put the malicious actions and motives of others on them all -
