I agree. I just wish the RF eyes were open to that. Their little security blanket of "followers" would be ripped away.
had an interesting thought this morning.
when a witness is 'in' they think everyone else is following and trying there best all in unity.
i believe the reality is there are a lot of us 'in' who know different.

lack of self-control in eating, drinking, and pursuit of pleasure;.
so, let me get this straight.
enjoying a fancy meal, appreciating the finer qualities of libations and deciding to enjoy life by pursuing pleasures (bike riding, hiking, camping, fishing, reading, movies, golfing, etc.

I'm telling you they know that most are not weak but mentally out! This will cause the elders to pressure any displaying these human actions (not miserable cult drones) the hope is probably that the pressure will force them to make an official exit. I believe us faders are a huge threat and they know it. But they portray us as not out. Just weak so as not to show the issue exists. People who are all in believe any who leave mentally are df'd. Or da themselves. Knowing the ranks were full of faders lingering to save family ties would make the org look awful! Seems like a lot of work this way but they can't out us, it has to be this way.
also am I mistaken that this is released and not secret anymore? If that's true. They want the RF to read this. think about it

Half banana & ultimate axiom.
I don't take it as controversial to disagree, we aren't in a kingdom hall ;)
Think about this for a moment. Do you believe the jw hq visit all the apostate sites? I do. Some of the things they say and issues they attack I belive they do.
Would they ever conduct a witch hunt that would in affect admit they monitor sites like this? I doubt it.
Also, consider all the halls reporting back to big brother. The BOE to the CO, and the CO to HQ. They know what's going on. If a spirit of fading is going on they get it. If you used to get lots of hours and comment and now you don't comment, you put in 2 hours a month but no one sees you out and so forth. They will see a trend. In those of us that fade to the point of inactivity they definitely see that in numbers as plain as day.
I think they know there are a good number of dissenters in the ranks. But to keep control. If you say anything, your out. Just some thoughts. Thanks for disagreeing and thanks to the forum where we can freely express out thoughts
perhaps i'm just getting older and crankier, but it really seems to me that the jw faith is deteriorating at an accelerated rate.. case in point: this year's memorial talk.
it was one of the most incoherent messes i've ever heard.
(and i've heard a lot of memorial talks over the last 50 years....).
Wow. Awful
the Isaiah thing was beat to death for us too. All I could think about was how lions aren't designed to eat grass. Lol
i'm looking for a link to where he actually lied on jw broadcasting about the bible students "not knowing exactly what was going to happen in 1914".. thanks for any help.

its the 100 years and counting video I believe
i think he probably will (it is the us after all) but i hope he doesn't.
he caused incredible pain and suffering to men, women and children who had never done anything to him.
many died in unimaginable agony, others are disabled for life.
love stuff like this that gives better understanding into the universe around us.

we all know the wts abandons and invents beliefs faster than apple can churn out new shiny stuff.
but have they ever abandoned a belief and later picked it up again?.
i remember many years ago we had one of those post-district-assembly review parts (part of the service meeting) where they were discussing some "new light".. there was some confusion about which was the "new" and which was the "old" and a semi-discussion ensued with people commenting.

"We used to believe that now we believe the truth... oh wait, now it's something else? OK now we know the truth... no? Not yet? It changed again? OK what's the truth now? OK. I'll go around judging, shunning and criticizing people over "truth" that is likely to change"
