I believe the most damaging thing to the organization is for any of us to appear rational and in control. That breaks their faith more than anything. you are attacking a CULT. cults exist and thrive by CULT RULES. When you yell at the meeting or at assembly or make a theatrical scene you are playing into CULT RULES. It doesn't impress us. It doesn't impress rank and file. It doesn't impress non-believers aka worldly people. It only impresses YOU. Just think how happy you are making the GB. Have you thought about that??? They know when they see this it's like you telling all the witnesses you are doing this in front of "you are right". Think about the little kids you may have a chance to leave this thing someday, and you are frightening them driving them in deeper to the hedge of the cult. They have theatrical warfare. We are fighting cult warfare, are you trying to help them? Ninja?

i had many clues they were lying about our religion but i failed to see through them because of the pain of admitting we got conned and family pressure from peers stopped me from making a courageous choice.
when i read about people who confronted the elders and won their judicial committees (even though the jw elders df'ed them) my heart goes out to their courage, their amazingly stronger than i will ever be.

Praying in Public?

today, i listened to a song about praying and how one can pray anywhere.
well, this song brought back the horror of sitting in restaurants, mcdonalds, coffee shops etc and having a group of brothers and sister bow their head and pray for what seemed to be an eternity.

?i have only been on this site for a couple months, and dealing with all the reactions of jws to my being removed as a publisher(for the second time) and my husband being df'd.
lucky for me i have 2 sets of grandparents that still support my life whatever i do as well as some aunts uncles and cousins.

Religion is based on emotion not reason
for me I got myself mentally out before really delving into sites like this. Even though I didn't have the where with all to get out within the last 5 years, I have always doubted the bible, always been confused, and never had strong faith. Just didn't want to die at Armageddon or lose my family because I couldn't get it like the rest.
Different people will never question it no matter what, even if they had video of TM3 eating golden retriever puppies. And for others like myself it will never feel right, and we just need to snap ourselves out of the FOG to wake up fully.

To me pursuit of pleasure throws such a wide net, it's so ridiculous.
I was insulted to no end by my family over my stupid Instagram account. It shows that witnesses don't really know people but judge who they are based on superficial, and imaginative things. I explained to one of them what was the problem? To me these social media things are superficial and for posting nice looking pictures. So if I take a pic of me out enjoying a nice day, but I am not out standing next to a cart, I am a sinner. I think it is all ridiculous, but to me this is the most vague, and broad of all the stupidity in there

I'm telling you they know that most are not weak but mentally out! This will cause the elders to pressure any displaying these human actions (not miserable cult drones) the hope is probably that the pressure will force them to make an official exit. I believe us faders are a huge threat and they know it. But they portray us as not out. Just weak so as not to show the issue exists. People who are all in believe any who leave mentally are df'd. Or da themselves. Knowing the ranks were full of faders lingering to save family ties would make the org look awful! Seems like a lot of work this way but they can't out us, it has to be this way.
