"There will be raspberries falling from the sky"
by stuckinarut2 inaccording to these authentic holy verses, you too can share in the assured joy of sweet raspberries from the sky:.
"i tell you truthfully, there were raspberries in an abundance that fell from the sky, bringing great happiness to all those on earth".
from the book of stuckinarut2 4:7. but how can you believe this authoritative verse?.

Divine Name in the First Century
by freemindfade induring the watchtower today while there was so much pontificating on the first century christian movement, i was wondering what would happen i asked your run of the mill r&f how paul and others would have been pronouncing the divine name?....
yes god's name, something witnesses claim was so critical.
but the absolute fact of the matter is that no christian was saying the name jehovah at all, period.

Yes it has been discussed. Just thinking of an interesting way of introducing it to witnesses to get them thinking.
In their mind they know none of this.

Today's WT
by OneFingerSalute inso today's wt seems to put out the idea that during early christian times it was god's hand that made the romans build roads, have strong laws, etc.
to make the preaching easier.. anyone else notice that?
some here really banged on about how great it was that god did that, just for them.

Someone commented about the growth of JW's and how it's a sign of Jehovahs backing... I should have raised my hand and asked if he is helping the Muslims too because they are taking off like mother f$#@ing gangbuster!! -

Yes God's name, something witnesses claim was so critical. But the absolute fact of the matter is that no christian was saying the name JEHOVAH at all, period. That name would not be invented for 1300 hundred years or so by none other than the witnesses arch nemesis THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. Thats right kids, The name Jehovah is a 700 year old catholic invention. Most of us here already know this, but I was wondering how fun it would be to make their head spin with the question.
So what name was supposedly being made known??? YHWH? Yahweh most likely... Adonai? Nobody ever said "Jehovah" before 1300 CE. And even after the name was invented, J-ehovah was a germanic translation of Yehowah... So I think that is a fun question for witnesses.
How did the Jews pronounce gods name? How did the first century christians? Most I am sure would say Jehovah, then I would say, are you sure?....

Up until about a year ago I was still being used as an attendant. let me tell you something, witnesses are HUGE assholes. We make them out to be way more behaved than the "world". But the reality is at assemblies they are as big if not bigger assholes than anyone else. Also completely untitled, not obedient AT ALL. Some of the biggest do-good righteous people in the org who would condemn you for just about anything, are some of the most selfish arrogant people.

Reminds me of some kind of preflight video and airline would make. There have to be two groups coming from all this in the org, those that think their cult is getting so hip, and those saying WTF???

Soon instead of touting the internet as a tool of the devil (like they used to), they will be saying how YHWH constructed it so all sheeple can watch jw.cultcasting.

"They 'thought' themselves out of the truth, and clearly they are living an unhappy life now!"
by stuckinarut2 inyep, these gems and comments were used in the talk today:.
speaking of ones who "failed to show appreciation for all the rich spiritual food we get from the f&ds", the speaker said this:.
"many have even failed to keep up with everything we are lovingly provided by christ's brothers, and rather than keeping their faith strong, they have become complacent and even critical ofjehovah's provisions!

"those who leave the congregations and organisations ALWAYS end up bringing unhappiness to their lives, and end up miserable, lost and in all sorts of turmoil"
I love this rhetoric, I didn't start feeling happy my whole 35 years of life until I started living apart from this cult. To me the is a fallacious bold face lie. I know many who have experienced this, and my opinion of them is that leaving the truth was only because they wanted to go out and be what they considered "worldly" so the did everything crazy they could, and they were like sheep amongst wolves because the cult made them this way. So yes they were chewed up and spit out because they were ill equipped to deal with "Life".
