Unconvincing Evidence in September Watchtower
by bemused ini was looking at the september 2015 issue of the watchtower, which, unlike the simplified and study editions, appears to be aimed at non-jws.
a couple of articles caught my eye that quote biblical sources which are somewhat less than convincing to a non-believer.. firstly 'what do jehovah's witnesses believe?
' says that the core belief is that 'all scripture is inspired of god and beneficial'.

The fact that their core belief is all scripture is inspired and beneficial should be the end of the question. OK and walk away. Because the bible is popycock -

Joining another cult... is it an option? Your thoughts..
by StarTrekAngel ini've just finished reading "freedom of mind" today.
meditating over the many things i've read, one chapter of the book talks about how there could be a situation where more than one family member may have joined one cult, while another member may have joined another one.
it mentions the possibility of using one family member against the other in order to bring them both to questions their own cults.. this hit me home as i had been thinking if joining a cult would be a good idea.

Christians not knowing the Bible
by Viviane inlast night a young man in a bar struck up a conversation with me.
our town is having our pride parade soon and he brought it up, the bible and how it's against the bible.
me being me, i said that i couldn't care less that it was against the bible and that it was a horrible guide for morality anyway.

We must create a completely satirical site to JW.org. There are so many serious ones out there that are very good, look what john stewart and steven colbert have accomplished, we could be the apostate version lol. -

Richard Dawkins talking about a Creator
by FusionTheism inrichard dawkins admitted that information inside of dna, and the origin of life on earth, might point to intelligent designers, perhaps extraterrestrials.
(see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boncjbrrdq8 )richard dawkins further admitted, in a debate with francis collins for time magazine, that science might point to a creator existing, but that this creator might not be anything like yahweh:.
time: "could the answer be god?

I am going to leave the level headed debate up to Viv and cofty and become the crazy godless anti-theist lunatic. The protagonist FT is looking for , here it goes.
FT your ideas are ridiculous and I don't have to provide proof because you do a better job than this ignorant godless maniac (myself) ever could. keep up the good work!
