  i have not meet all atheists, and it would be foolish for me to assume that all atheists, share the same prototypical view points.

  i am inclined to feel that this classifies the views of a large percentage of atheists.

  All atheists fall into agnostic no matter what because atheism us the lack of belief in "God" not the claim he doesn't exist.

  the jw delusion is a psychosis i.e.

  the holding on to a belief irrespective of sound evidence to the contrary.

  it has everything to do with the indulgent pleasure of embracing an all encompassing idea which promises to resolve every human frailty and inconvenience.

  Spot on observation.

  It's hard. I could be wrong but I think the deradicalization has to start within the person. Maybe not 100% of the time, but there are plenty of deradocalizing external things, only when the person has an internal sit down with themselves and has the courage to possibly sacrafice comforting lies for stark reality will they start taking the jw goggles off.

  For the first time their smoke screen of double speak is getting taking apart piece by piece by non exjw's. It may sound the persecutin alarm but not the apostate alarm. I love how well they have done their homework. I've never seen anything quite like it outside members and former members.

  Again this could be a good thing because such an exposure will hopefully effect change, and maybe as a result of this and the catholic debacle, religious organizations will be added to this list.

  Let me tell you something about the law. Its full of gaps. A law is made when someone exploits a gap and it comes to light as a problem. For instance, take illegal drugs for instance. You know all the major schedule 1 drugs in america (let use ecstasy for example) was completely legal and on the street, you could go to a bar and buy it from someone. Its not because its not a dangerous drug, its because it was new and there was no law for it yet. But it didn't take long it became an illegal substance.

  What the witnesses do is unethical and dangerous, its just not illegal yet

  i have been reading all the posts on this, and watched all the proceedings.

  it is very shocking and the jw elders look really bad.

  that being said, if the secular authorities made mandatory reporting everywhere across the board, would that not close the jw stupid loophole ?

  yes, the org does not want that loophole closed though. It keeps them in the liability clear, and the shame clear.
