I think it is important to the JW kids who hear something and do some research online.
If it only woke up a handful it would be worth it, the more info that is on the internet the better.
The rest of the world could care less. But a lot of people have woken up from this issue, so this is just more light (not not be confused with nulight) shinned on it.)
Its good for anyone that reads it and snaps them out of the cult.

the worst outcome for the borg will be a relatively small fine and a deadline to change their rules.

I think whether they are willing to admit it or not, most R&F witnesses would not want to know if the JW religion was not the truth and there was something seriously wrong with it. That presents a big problem. No matter what goes wrong their are those (and I believe it is a lot of them) that will stick it out, and choose comforting ignorance over uncomfortable truth.

I think it is important and here is why.
The Internet probably does more than word of mouth to wake up sleepers. In private they may begin to explore their religion secretly. The ARC is exposing a lot of unpleasant details. Just remember, its putting more facts onto the internet that can jolt people in private willing to search.
i have not meet all atheists, and it would be foolish for me to assume that all atheists, share the same prototypical view points.
i am inclined to feel that this classifies the views of a large percentage of atheists.

Well they might be opening doors for others. Dismantling the society smoke screen and revealing procedure and docs and lies better than anyone yet.
I think if nothing direct comes of it. It's giving loads of info and precedent

all jws on the stand have stuck to the same line that they have no problem with cooperating with mandatory reporting when state law requires it.. if the law does not require it then bible principles absolutely prevent them from taking away rights of the victim to report abuse to the police or not.. we have already heard from a jw rep a couple of days ago who proudly asserted that when the law conflicts with bible principle they will always obey the bible and quoted acts 5:29 "we must obey god rather than men".. please join the dots!.
