I am now confronting my molester.. PLEASE HELP ME NOW

i talked to him on the phone.

i said that i wanted an apology for him molesting me and my brother by sunday or i was going to take it to court on monday.

he denied what he did to us, but he acknowledged yes on all the identifying questions.

Respect, Country Girl. You are the first one in my life who has the courage to call such an ugly crocodile after so many years.

You have got good recommendations on this. I would say, too, to take the right steps at the right time. This means that you need an experienced attorney on this topic. It would be a shame if you power yourself out and realize that you should have done it better with legal counsel and reasonable support. Please watch your step and sharp your knife.

Inquisition Room/You and B.O E. Anyone?

recently had a sitdown with the entire body of elders.

five elders and little old me.

Ohhh, bronzefist, you must have good nerves. My goodness. 90 minutes for asking about your motives.

Well, questioning and controlling the sheep is part of their manipulation. It takes place regularly and depends of the elders. Of course, it can be different from congregation to congregation. But the system is the same how elders deal with the members of the congregation.

I heard so many weird stories pertaining to "sitdowns with wise elders" that I swore myself: "Never join them when they are going to ask me." Whenever they asked me to come for a sitdown (as you said they wanted to check my heart attitude , which shocked me deeply, because I was a 100% "I love Jehovah so much type") I responded calmly: "Dear brother Overwisdom, I cannot make a sitdown with you in the congregation. I work so much and I need bluy sky over my head desperately. But you can come anytime and walk with me over the vineyards and talk with me while we enjoy the nature." He and the other odd guys never asked me again. Life can be easier as I thought at that time. This reaction was on of my first steps into freedom.

I disassociated myself today....June 8, 2006

i wrote a letter to some personal friends in the congregation and enclosed the letter from the un.

i also wrote a short disassociation letter to four elders and enclosed the un letter as well.

i delivered them to the mailboxes and also mailed a couple.

I felt exactly the same, Outnfree. I did not regret my insecure step into my new way of life. As a matter of fact, I have not done anything wrong according to the "Standards of Jehovas Witnesses Island of Prisoners". I was simply mixed up and fed up due to the UN-scenario and the information I read in the book "Crisis of Consience" by Raymond Franz. The daily tear drops of mum in the 1970-ies because of the persecution in Malawi filled my heart when I was a kid.

It gave me the last portion of courage to leave the Club of Fearmakers. To look forward and leave my past behind without anger and wrath needed a few years (I was born into this remarkable special group of peculiar believers), but today I can say that I feel free. This is my reward which I can't pay with all the money of the world.

arwen, I wish you a lot of patience with yourself and step by step the trust into "worldly people".

I lost my naughty and one of my closest friends called migrane. I got my health back. My whole body was in pain, when I was busy as a JW. The longer I am away from those dead poets, the more I am able to enjoy life. Life is beautiful. I never loved my life so much as today.

i was born and raised a jw.... right now i know i am still going through the deprogramming, but in the pit of my stomach i so want to believe in something.

i don't know if it is because i always have had a regular "schedule" with god, but to leave and not believe anymore to me is very lonely.

Congratulations to your brave step of writing your thoughts down as they are ...

Don't you agree, that we kids of j.w. always had an answer at hand WHATEVER it was (thank you so much Mr Watchtower ). The current status of your inner development is on tour and works hard.

For me personally I've found out to accept open questions instead of indigestive replies (do you see the elephant? ). A few decades of your life are gone and you were kept rather little in your self-thinking. Now, as you realize to live without fixed answers given by remote-controlled Watchtower-Men you see a big dark hole and huge question-marks. This is life in the purest version. You will adjust to it. Take your time. Cheer up! It takes a few years and then you will laugh about the McDonalds-food of j.w.-zombie-land.

P.S.: It is not a shame at all to tell my kids that I am not a walking copy of the American Encyclopedia for everything in this world ... everybody can live his/her dream without fences. Th thing is, we are not used to have a play ground in our mind without fences ...

Feeling homesick and a bit down

i moved to the city a few months back and all was well for the first while but now i have been really missing my old home.

this meaning i really miss my house and my yard.

of course i can't go back any longer as i have sold my former house and property.

Dear Ticker,

I understand your feelings entirely. As everybody does, I guess, who ever lost something (-body) precious.

For me it is even a sad situation to throw an old pair of jeans away or an old bag. I used them for hours, weeks, months and years. And then all of o sudden they are gone. How much more must you feel homesick!

When relatives or good friends were overtaken by death, I can tell, this is for me the hardest pain I ever had in my life (I never had a house).

Anyway, you are homesick right now and I wish you the closest friend as near as possible to you: TIME.

You will see, if you find time to cruise with your bike around your new territory tomorrow, you will find sooner your new home nicer and familiar than ever. Everybody, who moved to a new home, needs at least the four seasons to settle with the soul.

Be patient, please and enjoy your deep feelings for your old home while you look around in your new home. You are so human! And this is great.

do the wts release statistics for those disfellowshipped from the organisation.. i understood that they published the numbers of newly baptised and those attending the memorial, but what about the other side of the balance sheet?

i'm assuming they don't for pr reasons.

Hi folks, Ticker, AuldSoul & Clam. Thank you for welcoming me!

What I wanted to point out is the fact - and IronClaw goes in my direction - that nobody of us is able to proof the numbers given by the watchtower zombies.

Anyway, I am not wild anymore about any numbers of them. I was pioneering for a few years, worked part-time and moved even to a town, "where the need is great". Advantage: I live still in this aerea and I get never in touch with any "brother & sisters". Uaaaahahahahahaha! Sorry, but this little joke is neccessary.

Hi clam,

good question.

It is annoying for instance when you read the annual j.w. report where it says "decrease/increase" 0%. 0% can mean -0,4% or +0,4%. You can make your choice. Officially it is 0%. They don't show you the exact numbers. Otherwise you could see their shrinking system, especially in the European countries, the former cash cow of donations.

Hello to everybody.

Thank you all for your postings! I'm surprised to read of so many of you born into the watchtower-zombie-land. This is the reason why I want to say hello to everybody. I was one of those pale scarecrows for more than 30 years (3rd generation kid of j.w.). A few years ago I left the "locked-in" people and each day, when I wake up, I am MORE than happy that I had the courage to turn around and try to live my life without "do's and don'ts made by watchtower-icecube-man". I am not a string puppet anymore.

Okay, I was quite feared when I tried my first steps freehanded. I fell down and I stood up. Several times.
