  Folks you got to see the 'truth'

  damn i managed as a kid to encourage some friends and finally their parents to be jw's.

  i wish i hadn't done that now cos basically i see the real truth, all i have done is decided part of their life and the guilt sometimes isn't good.

  what is was that i asked my friend to come to meetings, then later asked his bro and later his parents e.t.c and they all were persudaded. i don't directly blame myself, someone else might of shown them but yes i do feel sad that i showed them, i hope the opportunity comes to show them the real truth!

  Watchtower 68

  a watchtower from 1968 (on the 2004 watchtower libary cd) is intact as it should be, and guess what the society did then...not only did they predict 1975 at a convention.

  they released a book with a chart that proves that mans 6000 year reign on earth was up...then on the same cd from 1993 they claim that anyone who got the date 1975 was just very keen and read too much into the mags.

  if anyone wants exact names and dates of articles e.t.c i can go upstairs and get them off the pc.

  after the wts became a troublesome entity for you, how did you feel about the specific jws that persuaded you to come into the org which subsequently caused you so much heartache?

  Well the parent (namely mum) that got me in is the person i want to get out. I am trying to get her to see there is life on earth and its not as they make it seem everyone on drugs and drinkin and partying.

  Help. I need advice with my 12 year old daughter.

  i got home from work yesterday and my wife tells me there is a letter from my daughter's school - this is it;.

  can you imagine how proud and thrilled i was!!

  but.... at the mere mention of it my daughter burst into tears.

  Key thing is that she gets to tell you how she feels and what she wants to do, her social life will affect things probably as much as anything else.

  after seeing kw13's post about rap in the kh i began looking through a list of famous jdubs http://www.adherents.com/largecom/fam_jw.html , i hadn't realised that the rap artist jah rule had been a jdub.

  i wondered if the gb would let such a "brother" put together a rap promo for the society, something along the lines of.

  hes one bad brother hes the big creator.
