  has anyone here got to the stage where they just dont care about the wts anymore?

  whether they exist or disband, whether its about doctrine and dogma, attitudes, flip-flops, what they think of you, scandles etc.

  would this be the end goal of recovering from the jws?

  hi my name is alex and i was born in the truth and...i'm still in it.......i'm 15 and openly gay well at least at schooland to all my friends some who are also jw's well the reason for posting this is i wanted to knw if there were any other gay people here......if anyone wants to email me its [email protected].

  i want like advice on how i should deal with this cause sometimes i feel this oppression(dont knw if i spelled that right) on being gay and also being a j.w theres this i'm not sure how to explain it....like you knw that when people in your congregation find out the ones you know all ur life are going to hate u cause ur gay............this i guess just makes me feel really sad........ kind of hoping that this made some sorta sence.................... i suck at spelling so if i miss spelled something sorry@_@

  i'm not gay but my view that being gay isn't a choice or a decision you've made, its who you are. the JW's tried to stop me seeing my aunt because she is homosexual.

  my advise is you leave and be you!

  If you read verse 9 of jeremiah note the mention of surrounding nations

  read verse 12 it says the 70 years will end when the king was punished. so that makes 539. Using that + 70 years = 609.

  i believe 609 NOT to be the destruction of jerusalem but when the first of the 'surrounding nations' was affected. Reading a tablet from the british musuem it dates the Babylonians defeating assyria in 616-609. What if it was in 609....it fits with the 70 year thing then.

  just type in a song that is typical of your tastes and the site will create a 'station' that continually plays music you should like.

  fantastic to have in the background if you are surfing, even better if your pc is the heart of your music system.. it does not play requests, that isn't what it's about, although your original selection will end up in the playlist.

  by the way, did i say i think this is fantastic!.

  i think back at some of the simpler things we couldn't do or have because we were a witness.

  i hardly know my father's (worldly) side of the family.

  didn't know my grandfather, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins.
