Is it worth upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7?
by nicolaou ini'm running vista home premium on my dell inspiron.
dell custom build to your requirements and i went for 4gb of ram from the start (almost 2 years ago).
i know vista has been much maligned but honestly, i've had no problems with it.

Pity for Angel Eyes
by KW13 inwell, not just angel eyes but also for those like her.
i genuinely had no issue with her, and it seemed she was starting to realise just what the watchtower was, but backed out due to fear of the unknown.
'tis sad, she almost got her life back!.

There is nothing wrong with copping a feel of some nipple, however feeling like one is a different story.

Help! Leaving the WT and realizing I'm a social misfit!
by 2pink inso, i'm 30-something and have been a lifelong jw, born and raised.
(yeah, i know double points against me on the social scale!).
i'm on my way out (and moving at a fast pace with that, lol) and um, am now realizing that outside of the kingdom hall, i am a bit of a social retard!

I have been there myself, and its not easy to deal with. You spend a lot of time trying to find your feet, hoping to engage in conversation and want to enjoy socialising with others. However, it is a skill that those who are raised outside the Witnesses take for granted.
It takes time, it will happen just don't be too hard on yourself.

ethical consequences of faking reinstatement...
by drew sagan ini know that there are enough of you out there who can add good points to this discussion, and i await your opinions.
however, please be aware that i wish for you to take great care in your posts.
i am not interested in haphazard responses.. so as to not give away too many details, i'll simply say that recent events have caused my in-laws to strongly desire my wife to fake a reinstatement.

You have posted here for a good while, and i've come to respect you and i hope that, for this post at least you will give careful consideration to what i have to say.
You're not behind the door, you and your wife both know what the Watchtower Society is and what a life under its reign has to offer which is nothing but grief. Quite simply, avoid the huge strains it will put on your marriage, because if the Society says jump and your wife fails to do so, her sister will be one of the first in the queue to say, i thought you were loyal to Jehovah and his Organization. Don't you think that your husband is a bad influence on you, weakening your faith? e.t.c
Your wife being open to the influences of that cult once more could potentially be catastrophic, for both of you. And if things don't go to plan, as you say she then risks losing what relationship she has with her parents too.
This is a convoluted form of blackmail. You run the risk of you both being subject to unreasonable demands.
As hard as it is, you and your wife need to make the most of the life you have, forget the Witnesses and their spin. Her sister is unwilling to make any kind of sacrifice, yet your wife must literally change everything about her liife for a conversation? this is not love.

Think ive changed...can see it quite a bit laterly.PLEASE!!
by angel eyes inputting this out there.....going back 12months ago i was completely different to how i am now.
i am still loyal to jah and dont go against the scriptures, but even though ive recently returned to pioneering (only aux pio at present) i see im a little more laid back.. i think this has come through having to endure hell and back without any help, except jehovah, which im not complaining, im so glad his been there for me, for us both.
but i really believe that due to things that have badly and wrongly been allowed to take place etc its moulded me a little different to how i was.

angel eyes, you need to step outside of your comfort zone. rather than be afraid to examine things fairly, hoping to remain a witness just so life can remain familiar isn't honest, or really doing the God you believe in any justice is it?
