snoozy she hasnt had regular mammograms, i don't think they do that over here...nobody i know has had one on a regular basis. it might be worth my clarifying, we are both 21..

AK-Jeff i am not doubting you personally, but can i ask, how sure are we this letter is authentic? Seems to me, if it is real, something should have been done about it, although it'd probably be met with denial.

Anyone ever had a nice experience talking to a Witness?
by KW13 ini once had a lovely two minute chat with the same woman who brought my mother into the 'truth'.
she hugged me and said she was glad to see that despite me leaving i wasn't bearing any grudges.
i said i had found things out, and in tears she said to me that if i was ever 100% certain of what i had learned, that i should contact her and share my findings.

It didn't strike me as though she was trying to drag me back in or anything like that.
She seemed quite emotional anyway, her husband had been disfellowshipped (since reinstated) and my guess is the way he was treated upset her enough to make her consider leaving.

As for the doctors appointment, it went 'ok'. The doctor found no actual lumps but said that megan needs to go to the hospital to be scanned anyway, as lumps arent always easy to detect. in the next two weeks she will have a hospital appointment, and from there we will i guess, get the results?

Bless you both. I have a feeling it wont be anything too serious, or at least i'm hoping its not. Have to wait and see, of course i'll keep everyone posted.

crying at my grandma's house

i went to my grandma and grandpa's today just to visit.. most of my early memories are being with my grandma out in service while my mom was off to work.. .
i looked at her today.

Your grandmother doesn't need telling at her age. Sounds quite mean to say, but let her carry on because after investing so much of herself into that organization, it'd break her heart to discover the truth about it and it would probably hurt just as much if she thought you'd left.

She's alright, still gone to work tonight! We are expecting to hear from the hospital in the next two weeks, with an appointment for her. After that we'll know whether its serious or not. Thanks for asking mate, means a lot to us both.

I don't think any of us should be surprised a Witness agrees with the WBTS's policies. MadJW please clarify exactly what your opinion is.
Do you believe the Society have the right approach and do you honestly believe it leaves no margin for error?
Would you change it at all?
Why should a child feel ashamed they were abused? its the abuser that should feel shame.
