Thanks
I am sorry you've had the sad experiences, for most it varies from loss of friends to depression that you just can't shake off. But your a stronger person in the end as a direct result of what you saw/heard.
.
i have had to mature quickly after leaving the witnesses i was almost 'lost' and spent sometime being stupid.. i have learnt that forcing religion on to people is wrong, if they don't see something themselves then its not true or honest.
they need to decide everything themselves.. parents are also in a position where they need to be careful, they take their child to a religion that affects the child in so many ways, it ruined my childhood and its now a rod for my mums back..
Thanks

i've started to talk to hubby about things.
i started with the lack of love in the congs and he readily agrees.
how "worldly" friends are so much more loving than the so called jw "friends" (which we don't have anymore).. next i'd like to talk about the changes the "society" has made in recent years, how it's so hard to keep up with things now, it changes all the time.. can you help me with a list of changes and some wt references that i can discuss with him?.
if you can access the internet readily... www.watchthetower.com is ONE site with a few references on that.
http://www.watchman.org/jw/watchtower2000.htm - This is one instance that proves they change mags without even telling you!
.
fight shunning with real heartfelt love.. i think it would be cool to let as many people as possible know that their behavior has not.
stopped us from loving them.
i do like the idea, don't fight fire with fire, fight it with water!
Sadly, all the witnesses don't avoid me or anything so i don't have the opportunity to try this....
maybe i should upset them and ring them later? hehe no i am jokin, i never thought of it before.
on the 12th of this month, around 9:30pm, i was getting ready to leave for work.
running around, putting on clothes, making sure i had everything ready and the kids were settled in bed.
my husband, shawn, was laying aross our bed, resting, he stood up and suddenlly put his hand to his chest.
My grandma had a heart attack recently, it's a warning to slow-down and/or be careful...
I hope he gets better.
for anyone out there who think apostates are bitter, let me tell you...no they are not, and they're not apostates.
that is a label from jw's.. firstly, my story.

WOW, a small world indeed!
are people excited by anything in the organization?
are they tired?
mostly missing?
Well, its been a long 20th century with a lot of people saying the end was here, around the corner....hehe is Armageddon takin the corner wide?

ok, a little update on my story.
i told him yes.
i told him, i just couldn't do it.
You stick to your guns, you said and did some brave things!
im fading, and some of my family now realize we arent going to meetings.
everytime they phone or speak to me me, they keep reminding ( threatning) that the end is so close, dont give up now.. i just dont know how to respond, i know so much, but dont want to go into the un stuff yet ( dont want to sound apostate just yet) how can i say i dont believe the end is close !
that armageddon isnt iminent, what scripture can i use to back it up.
don't feel bad for not having answers like they do, you just left and its not reasonable to expect you to have a full jigsaw!
