Thing is, there is no scriptural evidence to support this...yes they might twist some words but what IF for example you kept praying and you sincerly felt that God was saying to do something away from the society. Then that means the elders or whoever must tell you that God wasn't speaking to you or you got it wrong.
We pray to God and he helps like that, for example when a man and woman are married they become one flesh and there is no room for anyone else in that arrangement (not even the elders though they like to think differently) and the same with our Godly relationship. The Governing Body is a bunch of self appointed hypocrites.

read jeremiah 52:30 - it says in nebuchadnezzar's 23rd year he exiled the jews.
the insight book (number two) on page 481 it says his 18th or even his 19th year...so even counting his regnal years or just his accession years that the society say, you don't get 23rd year....

Where i stand
by KW13 inok so its late and i wanted to share with you (my friends here if i have got any yet) what happened.
the evening starts off peaceful, but it ended with the old debates with me and mum.
evidence i found on sites was apostate, on page it was wrong so in the end i had to show her the original source of information.

Something significant changed in the WTS in 1984... but what was it???
by Elsewhere inlooking at this chart i can't help but notice that pre-1984 the growth statistics were extremely erratic.
then, all of the sudden in 1984 the growth statistics calmed down and have ever since fallowed a much more stable trend.
it's almost a straight line after 1984.. so what happened?

Note the growth near 2001...September 11th came and went...and so did the people.

what have you learned since you left the org?
by fullofdoubtnow ini have learned so much about the org since i da'd - the truth about the un scandal, the false reasoning regarding the 1914 doctrine, how widespread a problem child abuse really is in the org, things that i would never have found out if i was still in.
i can also understand why the gb don't like jws accessing the internet, there is far too much information about the wts on there for their liking.. the most important thing i have learned, or perhaps re - learned however, is the value of true, non - conditional friendship.
for so many years i thought the jws i mixed with were my true friends, but now i know they are not.

1) God exists but Jehovah of Jw's doesn't. - For example the nights i cried out to him, when i was hit and bullied over a period of 3 years he let me suffer, it stopped when i left JW's and started to look elsewhere for my faith...odd eh?
2) The Truth is a lie, nevermind my personal experiences. Hardworking dedicated people want to solidify their faith in the WBT and walk away in pieces, the longer they spend in the 'lie' the more it hurts and how i wish i could be there to show each one of them that they are not alone. The depression kicks in and its hell for a while.
3) IF Jehovah is a loving and patient God. If the Jw's are following Christs footsteps, the teacher that defends the weak, the lonely and lost people...then how come when i was confirmed in my church they kicked me out...too YOUNG to make the decision apparently, yet i am allowed on the ministry to put people a lot older than me in the picture.
