Hey Karl, If the 15 and 17 year old return, you should ask them if they plan on going to university when they're done high school. I'm going out on a limb here and presume their answer will be 'no'.
Then show them that quote from the 1969 Awake! magazine when they told everyone nearly 40 years ago that education was a waste of time and that they'd "never grow old in this system of things". Might make them stop and think.

KW-13- When they return visit on you, perhaps you should give them the AP news or NBC news release about the child abuse settlements in the JW organization. See if they know about it, and explain about the cover up of it . It might enlighten them on the real " truth " ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

To me, that would probably be a nasty surprise. Having the witlesses stop would lead to them making specious arguments for me to go to the boasting sessions and out in field circus. There is a better chance than not that I would be pulled into an endless loop where all I ever get to do is meetings, field circus, and studying the littera-trash. For sure, that is not appealing.

depends on what your trying to achieve. One was 17 and the other was 15, i knew them both a long time and i remember the 15 year old when she was like 4 or 5. They aren't the type to bother me too much (15 year old placed it) but 17 Year old will only get 'my thoughts' if they come again which i hope happens

Why encourage them by taking the lit? Doesn't that go for their 'count' of 'placing' lit?

encourage them? probably but i want them to see i am a nice guy but yes i've got my own thoughts, if we ever meet again as said i will discuss my own thoughts on the truth at length or at least try. too cold to press them today.

hey guys, album is going great so far... i hope we can finish it in 2008, around may or june.

anyway, i just had a thought which made me stop in for a while.

i was discussing something with a friend the other day, i hadn't even started speaking nor had i brought up the core of my point before he started screaming like some wild manaic; he started making up "straw man" arguments one after the other ad infinum, yelling like a banshee and accusing me of all sorts of thoughts that i don't believe... it was really bazarre.

i think some people do not have logic anymore because of the society lets face it, you'd need to abandon it to remain a JW.

I'm not sure if i could sell, knowing the Watchtower would have more money to spend on Child Abuse Cases and i'd be 'funding the worldwide work' and then removing the number 1 source for saving lives.
