The guy is a lone nutter.
Problem is - he's not. There are lots of right-wing terrorists out there.

Books!
by dynamiterose77 ini feel like i wasn't allowed to read a lot of books when i was younger, a lot of which i'm discovering are positivly phenomenal.. i was allowed to read edgar allan poe, who remains my all time favorite writer.
but, i've discovered the joys of stephen king, anne rice, joyce carrol oats, neil gaiman, george r. martin, david sedaris... and so so so many more.. i'm currently getting through "the shining" so i can move on to "doctor sleep".
i'm interested to see if anyone else that discovered the many joys of "worldly" literature, jumped immediately into what they weren't allowed to read... and what was your favorite?.

Well, you have many delights ahead! So many good story tellers......
Reading was always my salvation - I could sit in a corner and be ignored.
Currently reading Ken Follett - Fall of Giants. Just finished To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf. So many good books, so little time.

Yup. Gunz are not found in nature. Which is why I don't have one and my inner-city children/grandchildren don't have one.
You need to kill for food? Grocery store is way easier and cheaper.

Looks like a possibly good flick. I would like to see it totally separate from any judgment about the truth of the story.

Oh, my, we were at Granville about two years ago - it is so beautiful. We were stuck because of a difficulty with the ferry, but loved exploring the city in the meantime.

Do you frown upon tattoos?

i would just like to get your outlook on this matter.

I don't care for them. Unfortunately, there is a knee-jerk response when I see someone with tatoos - "immature," "poor judgement," "reckless," and "unattractive."
I'm sure they could care less what I think. Fair enough.

Mixed feelings about applauding the death of an oppressor, responsible for the deaths of innocents. I'll go with a subdued celebration. The man had blood on his hands.
