The Lesson of Martin Luther...
by Confucious inhey guys.... just felt like posting tonight.. comment or don't comment... but there was a good thought that came to mind tonight for me.. martin luther.... no... not martin luther king, jr.. the martin luther.. and forgive me please if my historical facts aren't 100 percent.. but martin luther went against the catholic church.. he posted the 95 rig-a-ma-role on the church doors.
basically condeming the sale of indulgence from pope leo.. anyway... martin luther went against the so called "norm" of the day.. but one of the things that i learned from him was his famous quote.... "here i stand.
god help me.".

My lesson for Martin Luther is that we don't need another religion. I don't think he wanted anyone to follow him as a leader and form another religion but just to let others know that Catholic church was abusing the power by using the Bible. Stand up to do right thing is fine but if we don't watch ourselves we become what we despised in the first place. Then it's too late to do anything about it untill someone else like Martin Luther come along and correct us. Vicious circle that we humans kept it for long long time.

Yes, there is a group that meets once a month in Collinsville, Illinois. Check them out in Christianwitness.com in yahoo group. It will tell you the location for meeting place and time. I personally never checked it out but I just now started to getting e-mails from them. Still trying to decided if I want to get involve with them.

i live about 15 minutes away from st. louis, missouri.
where the whole family could go and near by campground if available.

What would you notice first if you went back to a Kingdom Hall?
by JH infirst thing i'd notice is how the old ones got so much older and how the kids became adults and are taller than me.. next thing i'd notice would be how long and dull the meetings are.. *yawn*.

Well, we don't worry too much. I was want this to be over. We as family are doing okay. My kids don't really miss anyone. When we decided to fade away, we knew we might get df or da by them. I am still surprise that we aren't considering all the evidences they got on us. They are losing people and hardly any young ones are there. Sometimes, they are so glad to see us. I feel bad for them because they don't want to except that they are getting smaller and smaller in sizes. Denial.
We are ready for whatever decisions they make about us. We decided to leave upto them since they are the ones claiming to hold authoriy over us. And we will respect their decision. But you are right about one thing, I probably would get upset somewhat just because we would be labeled as something we don't deserve.
Anyway, I am so glad to meet you and found someone so close to home. Hope to talk to more in the future.
