having spent a couple of months in the world after a decade of devotion to the wt i have began to realise how hardly any of my friends have problems with illness.
it dawned on me a while ago that many, many witnesses have problems with health in one way or another.
how many times did you go to the hall and ask someone how they were doing to be told, 'oh, just struggling on', or 'i have`nt been too great' or 'i`m feeling a bit low just now'.
I remember one of the first things being amazed at upon beginning my new life out of the organization is that depression, eating disorders, morbid obesity, CFS and like syndromes were not the norm.
I noticed that especially "sisters" had strange maladies. We were like the canaries sent into the mines. We intuited something was not quite right about the "air".

social security called this morning and told me that i've been determined to be permanently disabled and the payments will continue!
it's incredible that it only took 2 months from the date i filed!
they usually fight a person all the way through the countless appeals process!.

i'm fed up of winter, and dirty yucky snow, and my car is full of sh*t salt.. so, today i washed it by hand.
it's red and shinny
I love each season in its due time. I especially love as winter fades into Spring. The days are getting quite nice here. There are 67-75 degree days. I watched two young lovers walking down the street the other day. The boy was absolutely smitten with the girl as he wrapped his arm around her waist, not taking his eyes off her. She was "coy" but enthralled, as she bent her neck to let it be kissed tenderly.
And I thought----aaaahhhh, Spring is in the air.....nice
Fall is my favorite, though.
Keep warm (heh, and well fed?).....

I could not agree more. Even though I had some lousy experiences, through them came tremendous growth opportunities. And I learned ALOT. I would not be the person I am today without the upbrining I had--and I love the person I am today.

last night i experienced a first!
i had a dream about a member of this board who has posted his photo.
in the dream he was visiting from overseas and i was showing him the touristy things in this area.
