i'm afraid i am.
it is in my nature to expect everyone to act in the best interests of everyone else.
i never expect that others will intentionally cause harm to another in a willfull and malisious act.

iran eyes badges for jews.
Actually, there is a lot of support among Jewish Israeli's for the plight of the Palestinians. I googled the subject and got pages and pages reiterating what I know to be so. Among my American Jewish friends, who are mostly liberal, there is a lot of angst over how Palestinians are treated under the ever growing conservative movement in Israel. Here are a few examples.
Jews for Justice: http://www.jfjfp.org/about.htm
Jewish voice for peace: http://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/publish/article_102.shtml
Oddly, I attempted a google search on the reverse (Palestinians speak out against suicide bombs), and got only a smattering and at that, many ended with a "yea, but they got it coming".
What the western media often overlooks is that on the individual level, Jewish Israelis and Palestinians often get along (fall in love, marry, start businesses together, bands, play soccer together) but as an Israeli reporter noted when I went to listen to him, "extremists on both sides drive the politics in Israel".
exiles: iran jews to wear yellow ribbons
iranian expatriates reveal that national uniform law authorized by iranian parliament includes clause obligating iranian jews to wear yellow ribbon; christians, other minority members to wear colored ribbons as well.
if law passes non-muslims lives will become intolerable .
Can you let me know what this sound to you?
Yep, the little seedlings for another holocaust. What is the purpose of it if not to identify and isolate groups that are "different" for ????? Sadly, it does not end with the Jews, as is often the case, these things only start with the Jews and minorities, there are often darker more broad applications in the works. Jews just happen to be good case studies for tyrannical regimes....like canaries in the mines.

Sadly (or perhaps not so), yes. I have an inability almost to not trust someone. I generally think most people are good if I dig deep enough. This undying belief in the goodness of the human spirit, even when I am betrayed, seems to attract darker energies...yet I persist. I am loathe to give up on anyone, trusting that deep down inside, people are born good and want to embrace the Light.
Another part of it is my belief that I cannot ever truly be harmed....nothing real can be harmed, nothing unreal exists.

You are very disengenuous to the Palestinians and ignorant of their suffering for the last 60 years under the ZioNazi rule of the Jews
So, you're for the badges?
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Reminds me of the good ole' days of strict Dhimmis "laws" http://www.jewishmag.com/57mag/dhimmi/dhimmi.htm
Looks like a sad return.

my bf and i saw an article in the paper last night.
a hypnotist will be in town, and charges 50 bucks to make you quit smoking.
guaranteed, or your money back, so why not!
Good luck, BL. I am quite certain that you will not exit hypnotic state with your head spinning, spewing vomit. It's wonderful to access the un/subconscious. I think this will work for you! You must employ your Will as well but with both of these powerful inner forces working for you, nothing is unattainable for you--nothing.

i'm closer to my mom than ever before.
but all the other witness family stays away.
strained. cloaked. veiled.
but my relationship with my brother who recently went back is improving slightly and slowly. They do not know all my feelings about the org, though.
i was reading a post on here recently from some young guy who was never a witness but wanted some advice about a romantic situation and what struck me was his real guilt trip about sex, porn and masturbation.. .
what is the reason for attaching so much guilt to sex?
is it because we attach emotion to the closness of our sexual relationships?
Firstly, organised religion is about social engineering. Thus, the topics covered tend to pertain to things like sex (reproduction) and marriage (the family unit).
This is quite possibly the most perfect explanation I have ever come across. When Christianity came on the seen, it immediately went to work on human sexuality (namely how to suppress or at least hyper-control it). I've always thought it was to contrast with the "Pagan" nations who in a more natural, earthy state of "religion" venerated the sex act as the "magick" through which humanity is continued. Not just humanity but all life. Christianity probably started out as more esoteric (i.e., the Coptic/Gnostic peeps) and sex was not so much nasty as superfluous to the ascended spirituality it was selling. Then it quickly deteriorated into all sex is nasty therefore all women are nasty (see Muslim treatment of the female--the females are penalized/veiled for the male's want of her and his perception that she is responsible for his distraction from his male god, who should be everything to him but cannot because sex is a primal need).
Also of note, I believe the fact that Christianity coming from a very male POV with no expression for the feminine divine (i.e., you have a celibate male god who has only had quasi sex once with a female human virgin to produce himself <or his son> incarnate) leaves the subconscious thought that want of the female has no place in the male's spirituality not to mention that it totally disenfranchises the female altogether.

go ahead.
it's ok. say what's on your mind.
If I could say one thing to Jehovah's Witnesses (with the absurd assumption that I would be heard, that is) it would be this:
Release fear.
