The world is NOT going to hell.
Conditions are better for humans now more than ever.
Sure .....considering global warming.
and by the way the world also means humans too so no need to get so technical.

funny how simple it is for people to trash god .
and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
how can we expect god to give us his blessing and his protection if we demand he leave us alone?

A lot of truth in these words.
I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are,
but for years we've been telling God
to get out of our schools,
to get out of our government and
to get out of our lives
And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out.

i read an excerpt from the book of mary stating that she was a perpetual virgin....joseph was quite up in age and was a widower with children, but was a god-fearing man and so did not sleep with her and kept her chastity...the only reason she was married was because that was apparently the law back then....so "thru god" he was chosen to take care of mary and jesus....apparently he did not have a long life after raising jesus.
jesus was born in a cave and later when everyone was called to their birthplace...joseph, mary, and family all went to bethlehem...with no room in the inn they were in the stables but jesus was already born by then and quite possibly no longer an infant.
this is very interesting to me because i was taught that mary did not stay a virgin (jw teachings) cause the bible mentions that jesus had brothers and sister, but this very well could have been josephs children from a previous marriage.... the excerpt came from a book called "lost books of the bible" by rh value publishing.
The bible contains the truth of Jesus' birth.
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, of the tribe of Judah, who was betrothed to Joseph, the descendant and heir of the house of David.
The angel Gabriel announced to Mary that the power of the Highest should overshadow her, and that she should bear a son who should rule over the house of Jacob forever.
Joseph the carpenter and his wife Mary went on a journey. When they arrived at Bethlehem in the evening, Joseph wanted to find a comfortable place for his wife Mary who needed to rest and who was awaiting the birth of her promised Son. The only place they found was a stable with camels, donkeys and sheep. There Jesus was born.

it seems from my perspective only, as i am only speaking for myself, that there are many people who like to debate on christianity and christian beliefs no matter what the initial topic was about originally.
it seems that many who do this are basing their beliefs about christianity on what they learned from either one extremely legalistic group known as jehovahs witnesses or from one of the just as extreme fundamentalist sects with similar attitudes.
i would like to point out though that main stream christianity considers these groups to be cults of christianity.
That is very true.
Not all christians are alike just like no two fingers prints are alike.
Believers of Jesus Christ and doers of His Word are important. We all are not perfect but we get peace and forgiveness in Christ.
We receive different gifts from God which we ought to use for His honour and glory and not for our own selfishness.
Christianity is deeper than just calling yourself a christian.

Tell me what you think of this:
The World Trade Center Towers could certainly be a type and warning to us as a nation that our money and pride has reached into the heavens and it is now brought down by our own sins.
In the Old Testament the other tower that God did not approve of was the Tower of Babel. This is how Babylon got its name.
Nimrod and the men who were building this tower had the wrong motives for doing it, therefore, the Lord confused their languages *so that the work was not completed and the men were scattered abroad on the face of the earth.
* Only God could do something like that. Hence we have so many different languages.
