much has been made over possible motives behind the watchtower society joining the un/dpi.

my response is currently the same as it was in my first letter to them, "who cares why [they] did it?

Its difficult to inspire a sense of urgency about God's Kingdom when you spent the last 15 years making sure we were all up to date on the "UN programmes and activities".

What is urgent about the WT is to "get out of her my people if you do not want to share in her plagues".

I will concede to both of you that you are both correct in being offended not just by the abuses but by the WT touting that it is a volunteer effort.

For the record, "I am not a crook" to quote Richard M. Nixon, and I never got a cent from them for myself or any equipment I ever brought. Honest.

dozy seems to be okay with the un deal.

i've got some relatively simple questions that i would like answered from the bible, by dozy!

if dozy has enough faith to do it.. i would like to see one verse from the bible that actually says jesus & michael the archangel are one and the same.

Dozy--Are you out of your mind? If you disagree with the WT on some points but not on the UN "affair" you must be touched. This is the most hypocritical act they have ever performed. They condemned others for the same thing they did.

In fact, I think you are in for commendation.

i gave that un report to my (hardcore jw to the extreme max, but in a nice way) aunt, and she didn't speak of it for several days.

when she said nothing, i knew i'd gotten somewhere.. today she finally spoke up.
