i decided to start this topic when ozziepost shared the experience of a bethel representative telling him and mrs. ozzie "and don't forget, we've got your children!
it's important for us to hear these experiences and to share them with each other.
it helps us tear down the mistaken beliefs that the incidents that happen to us are not isolated ones, but are in fact par for the course when one parts ways with the jws and wts.
I heard many times hateful words, hateful looks, Experienced violent behavior from Jehova's Witnesses many times on my own skin.
Sooryy brothers and sisters, that I have to tell the truth here.
I know not every one is like that, and I love you very much.
But I noticed, that the Society has more and more very negative influence on ALL JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES WORLDWIDE.
Very sad, sad TRUTH, and the truth is impossible to hide any longer.
i'm invited to wedding/reception tomorrow (on christmas-naturally) only reason i'm going is because its my one chance to get new shoes, dress, the whole bit at my mother's expense (since she seems to think i will find my future middle-aged elder husband at one of these functions)
i definetly plan to buy one of those mini-bottles of seagrams and get buzzed of course.
who wants to listen to 10 different speeches from family and friends about "how wonderful this spiritual union is of so and so) yawn!
I was feeling very uneasy, sad, confused.
Something was missing. Everybody was acting like manekin.
Sad, sad experience. No FUN at all.
I am sorry I have to say that. But I was also on so called "wordly" weedding. 180 degrees difference !!! FUN FU FUN !

It is so sad.
Many times a person very close to my heart told me: I hate you !!! But they read thousand times in the Bible " Love God and your fellow man " . I guess the words have no effect on them. They can qutote this to people but is not in their hearts.
They are like robots. I was so scared many times to see brothers and sisters to talk like that. Where is the love ???
