How many caregivers are here?

i'm just having a little 'pity party' for me tonight and thought surely there are others here who are caring for invalid family members daily.. i am an rn (day shift).

then i come home to work: my husband is not very mobile due to a series of medical issues,...well, he fell thursday and broke his right leg.

i have elderly parents with multiple health issues.

as many of you are aware being brought up in the organisation, there was a general directive from the wt that secular education was good, but not encouraged as far as university and further education was concerned.

many witnesses left school in the 70s with no formal qualifications.

my question therefore is 2 fold.. 1. what would you have liked to become as far as your career is concerned?.

1st-I would like to be a professional basketball player. I was pretty good. My parents would not let me play in high school. I could have majored in marketing, buty my folks did not think it was a good choice. Oh well. I should not let them make decisions for me.

2-Currently house caretaker til July 1st, must find another one soon! I also teach America Sign Language part time for extra income. I am willing to relocate anywhere in the USA if the offer is about right for me.

What do you do when you get bored?

Missanthropic, the reason why I posted this question is because I was temporarily bored. I was looking for caretaking positions all day and everyday. It gets tiredsome. The owner of this house decided to rent the house out and a new tenant will move here on July 1st. The owner will highly recommend me for my next house caretaking assignment. I have been a caretaker of this house for almost 17 months.

After reading the posts last night about watching TV. I decided to watch some TV then went to bed.

When I was a little boy and I was sitting on the front row while My Dad gave the public talk. I was not behaving and My Mom was trying to drag me to the back to give me some spanking. I did made a very big scene out of it. I do not know if you call that silly, but whatever.

Sorry, need to moan and belly ache

i normally try not to moan and belly ache here, but today i'm really down.

the other day i was kidding and joking about being "socially-challenged", it can be fun to do this... but sometimes it catches up to me.

i spend the vast majority of my evenings and weekends alone... movies, restaurants, community events, parties, you name it.

You could meet new people by taking sign language classes. It is worth a try! I have been teaching America Sign Language part time for 8 years. I have taught plenty of very attractive female students.

i have this habit of cutting my hair.

the longest that i was able to let it grow was to the top of my shoulders.
