  hubby and i got on the topic last night.

  he was wondering what i was eating- a frozen jello pudding cup.

  i remember getting them at the assemblies, especially the hot summer district assemblies.

  hello brothers and sisters.

  i'm a 17-year-old kid in a methodist household, and i've recently began reading up on jw doctrine and the new world translation bible.

  i'd really be interested in learning more and more, possibly leading to an eventual conversion to the witnesses.

  I do not think Bryce will be back, but if he will be back, here is your answer, get the magazines at the Laundromat and you can take the watchtower and awake before someone else gets them!

  does any one know what happened to those threads where everyone photo shopped the awake and watchtower covers to say different things?

  they were so funny, and as hard as i tried i couldnt find the threads, does anyone have a link to them please?

  what did you "sacrifice" when you came in the Truth?

  i'm a newbie, bin lurking for days and bin doing so much research from your informative threads that my family think i'm possibly "comin back in the truth" =not!

  this is my 1st post so forgive if already done before, but just wondered what you had to "sacrifice to come in the truth?

  in my case, i was baptised in early 80's, my study conductor and all the dubs heavily drilled into us young-uns to sacrifice whatever it takes to please the org.

  Well, I was raised in the truth, I have never played any sports in High School, I really wanted to do it very badly but my parents say NO! They said that I will miss the meetings, it would be very nice if the Watchtower has one meeting a week on Sunday back in my high school days. Oh well!

  My Dad died on Friday

  i dont often post on here but lurk everday.

  i was an elder for 11 years, raised as a witness from birth and eventually left in 2002 aged 42.. my dad died on friday aged 87. he was a witness baptized in 1940. he was congregation servant and then elder in hull, england.. we were arranging his funeral tonight with my 2 brothers who are still witness elders.

  all they were interested in was what he had done in the "truth".

  You will be disfellowshipped for apostasy, if that is what you want to do. If I were you, make sure that you really want to do it. If it were for me, I would not do it because I have family that is still JW and you have a family that is JW, so count the cost before you do it.

  I personally do not like the idea of women getting breast implants. It is fake! I do like large breasts but it will have to be natural. If you have a nice ass, that would be a plus.
