Does anyone know the Caldwell's in Australia?

especially if you were on the wrong side of them.

Spinal steroid injections.
by BrentR inlast wed i got a spinal epidural steroid injection and for the first time in many years i am back pain free.
i am curious as to how many people have had them that experienced an improvement or did not.. i am a licensed massage therapist and i work in conjunction with a chiropractic clinic.
we see most people after they have tried most or all of the traditional medical treatments and have not had any relief.

Yes that's right it's called Prolotherapy and a course of closely timed injections must be done to benefit ,it's been 5 years since my last series and it's only now that I can start to fell a bit uncomfortable from time to time.
I've always done daily stretching exercises and strength exercises to keep in tone . This ,like other treatments is not a cure but a pain relief strategy , but the pain is always there but with strategies such as these it can help to manage pain and strengthen surrounding areas to support the damaged area. Even when driving I do pelvic tilts almost unconscienctiously so I can enjoy a degree of health fitness.
one thing I did not mention before was that with lower back damage it can spasm the muscles so much that I developed tumors (non cancerous) in the pain area the size of half boiled eggs. A sports therapist used to massage me and burst them with his thumbs, I used to go home a wreck , but since I had the prolotherapy none have come back.
Always keep up exercise and never sit too long ,that has helped too, I hope this helps someone.

I damaged L3-5 in 1989 which crippled me and tried the treatment mentioned here in '93 in hospital. It was the most excrutiating pain I've recieved in treatment! I watched the monitor as the tube was inserted to each point in my spine and it took 4 people to hold me down as they did it. I left the hospital really ill from the horrors of th pain as the fluids compressed in my spine as they did it.
After a few days I got less pain but it came back with a vengeance a few weeks later .Back to hospital and they said they would now lay me up in hospital in traction for a year after removing 3 disks. Hell no I said and walked out. I guess it does'nt work for everyone but I'm glad it does for some .
We went nearly broke while I was out of work and had to sell the house as a last ditch attempt to find relief and then finally found a doctor in Queensland Australia who performed Nestfields treatment ,which I had read about in a book. By this time my left side had withered and my face on that side was paralysed and my leg was an inch shorter.
When I had the first treatment all my feelings came back on my left side and I actually drove 200km to where we were staying! This was impossible before as I could not drive that distance and had to travell as a passenger semi laid back. After 3 more treatments I was ,in time ,back at work as a builder. It does'nt treat the permanent injury but acts on the nerves and muscle tissue in the back and relaxes it so the pain can go. The treatment is where a curved blade is inserted into pain spots in your back or neck ,into muscle tissue and severes the painful frozen nerves so they free up. The doctor who treated me taught some doctors in America how to do it ,and then others here in Oz. Because of my damage he over the years changed to a different treatment to assist the previous work done, but this involves injections of a salt/glucose into the cartilage of the spinal joints which irritates the cartilage to grow and repair itself.
For those who don't believe in these treatments I show the mess in my Xrays and MRI's and say well I'm still able to work full time at building and I'm no spring chicken!
I'm sorry if this is off topic but I just am so glad to have told fellow sufferers about this and hope it works for them, I've been to clinics for years and seen people who have had operations to remove disks etc and hardly any after 2 years are virtually pain free but are suffering more than ever.

I watched a program not long ago and it made mention of the dingo. it suggested that it had similarities with a breed of village dog in Indonesia and that the Aborigines may have brought the dog with them.
One thing is for sure, it can crossbreed with domestic dogs. So that's one creature ,now what about all the rest? The Platypus, now thats a fascinating creature!
Sadly alot of our indigenous creatures are disappearing so maybe one day we won't be needing to wonder about their origins anymore for they will be gone. Alot of small ones are going because of the domestic/feral cat. There is a Professor in the Adelaide hills who is big on returning the natural scrub back so the remaining creatures will have a home .He has built a high chain wire fence around the sanctuary to keep the cats out - and you can buy the hides of the cats as novelty items that he has shot from his gift shop!

If it is now being emphasized more fully that the annointed are not special ,then don't we then have the right climate to promote some of the great crowd in the writing department to be annointed and then put them on the governing body?
Thus having a situation of replacements becoming special in preference to any old time annointed baptised before 1935 ,that is if there are any still living? I would have thought that a man annointed and faithful for over 70 years would have more credibility with God than an other sheep who suddenly thinks he is annointed and gets promoted to the governing body from the writing department and is only in his 40's,50's or 60's!
