  Been there but only as far as Alice. We're going to go to the top though probably next winter coz I can't take the humidity. I know of one family from Katharine who have just about all left.I have been told off for using names here but it starts with a S and is very common. Till next year then ,geez it's cold and windy here. Went windsurfing yesterday and I'm still thawing out.

  driving for miles between houses...sometimes i would lose a hub-cap and have to go back "hubcap hunting.

  " why bother since my car was as old as i was .....20 years.

  people that live 30 miles from town would be shocked to see us!

  Thats the way to do it SASS !Been down to SE South oz with the Millicent congo and then go real rural ,used to leave tracts on the strainer posts at the dirt track intersections as you knew people would stop at these . Interesting witnessing at Coober Pedy especiallly to the Aborigine people. W@hen I lived in Queensland I had a good freind who go out with an elder on motorbikes to the stations in all sorts of weather ,it finished though when he hit a large kangaroo at speed and mutilated his arm pretty bad. I think they used to go just to satify their need for speed and love of the bush.

  I thought they dropped the teaching of separating the sheep from the goats B4 the great trib ,but they just seem to be promoting a softer version. The GB member must be channeling as he knows exactly where the angels are and what their thinking! What if a brother has been secretly screwing his daughters freind are the angels still there? Or ten years ago the young married sister had sex before marriage with her husband ,have the angels been there with her for the past ten years in FS........I don't think so but the GB member must think so ,unless he thinks all he addresses in his speaches are perfectly moral?

  i got the idea for this thread by talking with a friend this weekend who had been abused by a father when young.

  this person confronted this parent about it and got a very self righteous reply back from the offender.

  already a precedent for exposing the watchtower society has been set.

  Unfortunately there is only one justice that satisfies the crime ,anyone can read about it in the bible -death. Though it seems to have been acceptable for the Israelites to mete out this justice ,today we have been conditioned to abhore this with our consciences which strangely enough may not have been bible trained ,but it was OK back then!

  i know that has probably been covered ad infinitum on jwd.

  so...... if jehovah is omnipotent, then there is nothing he can't do and nothing he doesn't know.. and, according to jws (as well as most other religions), god is love.

  therefore he had to have known, even before creating all of creation, what would happen.

  Iff we have free will how is it that we are also supposedly born into a weak and sinful state given to us by long past parents? We are trapped then to make imperfect decisions with that free will that may lead to us not attaining everlasting life. How can a ransom be paid one third of mankinds history ago ,and yet there is the vast majority of mankind knowing nothing of Jehovah? If god is not partial how is it that the vast majority of non whites are not following Jehovah ,does this mean their free will is of a poorer quality than say one million American JW's?

  I agree with Simon too ,taking the emotion out of thinking what to do and being strategic is a better way to go .Like taking a deep breath ,pausing and then making a decision , a decision that will not later turn into the perpetrator and their help coming back at you legally and abusing the victim all over again. My wifes case is finished now thru the legal system and though she closed the case against her father she has grown into a happier woman and wife. I won't say anything here as to why she chose to close the case for she wants that kept to herself and me . But she used all the help from the government she could and we thanked them for their efforts .What did she gain from her exposing her father who used to be an elder? A; Her dignity and self worth B: Courage to stand up for herself C: Confirmation that she is in control NOT the abuser any more. D: By not telling the court and the abuser and his laywer why she dropped the case ,she has gained power over her abuser and the rest of the family ,for she has exposed him and is now in control of her life and what happens in it. E: Since 90% get off she has saved herself grief from cross examination yet she has had total control of the proceedings ,exposed him to local JW's and it cost him a lot of money. F: The situation caused the rest of the family to take sides and you know there was not one that backed her even though some were abused too they went against my wife to her face ,so she now has the clarity of knowing what they really are as people ,and has moved on. These are some of the gains but most importantly for her was the exposing of the Watchtower society and her leaving an organisation that perpetuated her abuse by their inaction ,protection and hiding of him within the ranks of Jehovahs Witnesses. What can we do to expose these abusers? Have they really got away with It? Well this is what my wife has done ,it has caused many JW's to look into their own hearts upon hearing of the case and they have stayed in despite knowing her beautiful nature and the truth ,maybe the fruits will come from this. No he did'nt get away with it ,he'll be tormented the rest of his days that he can't control her with the assistance of the family and the Society ,for he is living a lie and can never respect himself yet my wife CAN. It would be nice to have a place to name these creatures but the reality is each one must make rational decisions on how to help protect others , my wife chose her way which has helped in healing her life and that is more important than hurting him as much as possible. I'm not as strong as her at times I guess, as I fantasize the obliteration of these filth perhaps taking Gods sword of vengeance and smiting them . Her families loss is my gain in being married to a beautiful person ,which is more than I can say for them ,and they have had the warning now to protect their children . Still it would be nice to paint his crime and his name on a couple of Kingdom Halls LOL ....but the silly bastards there would think it was satan eh

  I have never heard anyone say that is their goal to bring down JW's by pointing to the way they have handled it.

  It cannot happen on one issue ,but the boldly pointing to the hypocrisy of the org in handling the problem does have benefits ,in informing those trusting in the org and not knowing how it handles the issue ,and protecting children in the future is important .

  I don't believe that those who spend a lot of effort in exposing the WTS in this regard ,really would expect them to shut up shop over it ,but when someone says they are gods special channel to people and then cruelly treat them with disdain ,well their hypocrisy must be exposed with gusto!

  this young man gave his life, he will probably never have a wife and family for the rest of his life and this is how they are treated ?
