The Reasoning Book is Inspired
by Thirdson inthat is what 2 jw ladies who came to my door recently told me..
to start at the beginning, periodically, these ladies have called and spoken to mrs thirdson but always on a week day.
mrs thirdson is always very polite and has accepted the mags saying that i might be interested in reading them but making it clear that we are christians and not interested in joining their religion.

My brain worked yesterday at the WT study
by BonaFide inso paragraph 11-13 yesterday discussed how lepers in jesus' day were outcasts.
they were required to call out "leper, leper" so people would stay away from them.
the next paragraph says that according to rabbinical sources, a religious leader even threw rocks at a leper to keep him away.

I disagree with you Aguest ,it seems to me that the way the language is transmitted it is spoken figuratively as if Jesus literally took the sickness of people into his body. As for the feeling of something leaving him this would ,to me, mean he could feel the strength of the holy spirit being used to heal someone EXTERNALLY. It makes no sense that Jesus literally takes on the disease or death of someone for even a perfect body surely would not be designed to do that ,like ADAM and EVE who also had perfect bodies. What this type of language conveys to me is that Jesus took upon himself the responsibilty of the healing of illness of others to demonstrate to all what he would do in a fuller way in the future. For how does one take on the death of someone and still be unaffected and now multiply that by billions being ressurected .

WT backtracking fast on Book Study -High Gas Prices
by stillajwexelder inso tonight the congregation discussed the front page of the october km -the new meeting schedule.
straight away it was emphasized it was not because of high gas prices that the meetings were being reduced.
it was pointed out that in parts of the world the brothers do not have cars so it was not high gas prices.
