Surely this is equal to the 20th century JW martyrs ,and yet in this book of Daniel we find another inconsistency....Daniel was esteemed worthy to have incredible power over Nebuchadnezzars realm and yet iff you read chapter three of Daniel ,all the rulers of the jurisdictional areas of the the Babylonian kingdom were commanded to be at the inauguration of Nebs gold image ,including the three Hebrews who were put to the test .....and yet where does the bible say Daniel was??? considering he was Nebs right hand man now? Did he stay away or did he just bow down with everyone else except the three Hebrews - where's the consistency here? I believe this is all related to the theme of your topic. The account is about as consistant as the GB has been.!

Well I think we had our equally second coldest August on record in Adelaide but I don't think any of us have lived long enough to confidently observe changes over time and then be able to say "oh yes this period or that period has suffered abnormality because of tearing trees down and burning fossil fuels" .The Northern hem. is melting and yet there are other parts of the planet growing in ice ,who's qualified enough to say for sure whats going on ,we're only living in a single grain of time and yet if you shit in your nest on one side for too long it's gonna stink and maybe topple off the branch.

After reading the Consolation it disgusts me how biased the article was on Rutherfords burial place and calling the local authorities "enemies" .Well where was Jah's spirit? They always rave about how the spirit did this or that yet their dear president could not find a hole in the ground at Bethsarim to be buried in! But is he buried there still? on the sly ?

After about 12 years of trying to change the stance of the Society concerning molestation of my wife by her elder father I gathered a collective of memories of wrong things that I had also seen go on in the Society ,came on this site and Silent Lambs ,gathered info on such things as the UN scandal and also going thru a Judicial committee against an elder who seriously wrong me in front of 3 JW's who I called as witnesses against him ,and then seeing the local elders throw it out and even the CO giving the accused permission not to attend the JC ,and then having Sydney Bethel toss the case and us away.......phew....I tried to present all this finally to my local elders who gutlessly backed away from us ,I just stopped going and thankfully my wife soon stopped attending too and DA'd ,My status is unknown but the brothers walk past our home now after we exposed the society to some sisters who called by. My wife does'nt believe in god now ,after all when you're a small child being raped for years by your elder father ,and you call out "Jehovah please help me !" ...and nothing happens...what do you do after serving for a further twenty years as an adult and then the Society kicks you in the guts. I REALLY HOPE SOME BETHELITES OR ANYBODY STILL IN READS THIS!!!!!

I agree and it really has some top discussions debating JW beliefs that has proved to me very useful in breaking the chains finally of the societies hold on me giving misleading and biased info. Before I came here ,and I'm sure others feel the same, that all those doubts that developed were confirmed here in a logical way. When leaving mentally it was hard to know whether it was the right thing to do ,but upon reading others experiences and the truth about the truth it makes it easier to move on - certainly a little true knowledge empowers a person. Thanks to all here who have had the courage to work hard at telling others the facts .

Let's see ,take the amount of local elders ,divide it by the amount of elders wives discontent with their husbands ,add the publishers who don't do it at home but cover it only when they go out in field service group ,deduct the amount of publishers who put in bloated field service reports ,deduct those who say they do on the platform but don't actually do it ,add the arse kissers reaching out notably ,yep I reckon you're pretty close .............

Funny/strange things you ate as a kid.

we had an old dry tank dump in the back that filled up with water.

De- emphasizing the generation that must pass away before the big A would come and making it open ended has just about done it. I started in the early 70's and the strong teachers of 1914 and the gen that will soon pass were many and fairly fluent in giving the WTS spiel ,but over the years less and less capable teachers were around .I always had to remind myself of the teaching to be able to convey it to all my students over the years and found some would come to me to go on their studies to try to explain the teachings to the students because I sincerely believe they did'nt understand it enough to be able to teach it! And I bet today that the teaching is made alot softer and without the emphasis it used to have years ago ,as it was THE primary teaching ,especially in the student study books ,but now other things would be given more emphasis ,hence a dulled down R & F that is really just ready to follow the GB coz it's mentally easier to do rather than study up.

It's OK for Elders wives to wear denim but not a brother even iff neatly pressed to meetings. Deut: 22 v25-27 JW believe that 2 or 3 witnesses are required for a sexual crime committed on a woman ,but the bible shows differently !
