Jw's at my door
by cheeseman init's been a while now since the dubs made their last visit.
i was living in another town at the time.
on that occasion i destroyed them on the basis of archaeology, paleontology and other sciences.

If they said the world was just fine, we were absolutely stumped! "Uh, uh, well have a good day", we'd stammer.
We couldn't sell the product if they wouldn't bite the bait.

Last straw?
by happyout inso, my marriage has been in trouble for some time.
my husband and i have totally different goals, and ideas of "partnership".
the last few months have been even more difficult than usual, he has been out of work, and not picking up any extra load around the house.

I know it's hard to air dirty laundry, but in order to keep your Mom's help and support, you might consider letting her know that unfaithfulness in the marriage on his part was a factor, you know, so she's satisfied it was a "scriptural" divorce.

Venus and Serena Williams' Book
by tall penguin ini saw venus and serena on oprah the other day talking to teens and promoting their book, "serving from the hip: 10 rules for living, loving and winning.
" so when i got in to work today at the bookstore, i decided to have a look.
it's a great book for teens.

I wouldn't feel guilty about leaving him; he's already left you, in his heart anyway, if he's offering to meet other women. Start getting prepared financially and see someone for legal advice, at least so he doesn't ruin you financially! You poor girl, be strong, you don't deserve this.

The Watchtower Society killed my website

What nasty un Christ-like bastards they truly are! How can you put a copyright on the words of God? How could anybody own what God says to all mankind? Isn't that what they claim their publications are, words from Jehovah? So obviously, they don't really believe this. They are staking their claim to ownership of books and mags that THEY have written, and comes from THEM. What are they so afraid of?

"Deliverance at Hand" District Convention Invitation
by Elsewhere intruthsetsonefree has provided spiritual food at the proper time by emailing me these scans.... this is the little hand-bill invitation for the next district convention that we've been hearing about.
considering the fact that most jws never actually read such things before handing them out, i suspect that many people will be given these things but never actually told when and where the convention will be held!
on the back it says: "the local congregation of jehovahs witnesses invites you to attend the convention that will be held at the time and location shown here.

Yes, Emma, that's the one I remember, Dennis Bennett from the UK! You remember him too? And Vanita or Benita or Vanessa, whatever, was his wife's name. I was just a child when we had him in Indiana, but he really stressed everyone out, I do remember that!He was so fussy about his tea, and what he would or would not eat.
Some referred to him as a pompous little rooster!
