starting this week the midweek has visual aids throughout the meeting such as sing along lyrics that scroll smoothly, images from the publications being used and the year text displayed in between.
does anybody have the files that were used or have they been leaked?.
Just like they jumped onto the internet long after everyone else, they are late adopting this technology. The churches have been doing this for quite awhile already. My church always has the lyrics up the screens, as well as scriptures being referred to.

it is by the words that we worship jehovah god, bringing praise to him.
as an introduction to song 146, jw org states -jesus considers any act of love and support for his anointed brothers as though it were done for him.

when i left the org, the jw's tried their best to guilt trip me.

Notice how the elderly lady is now wearing a skirt for the meeting, though she's got health issues. She'd receive frosty disapproval if she was more comfortable in slacks. The demure, simpering sister next to her is also in a mandatory skirt, draped well over the knees. They got that little message in there too, an example of what must be worn at the meetings. The elderly woman cast off the blanket from her lap and changed into her Modest Christian Woman Meeting Clothes.
i would love to compile a list of the education obtained by the governing body members both past and present.

i was an elder in the 1970's and i was not a big fan of the "stay alive until 75" dogma.
i was looked down upon by the heavy hitters on the body of elders and in time i changed my mind.
i knew of the failed prophecy of 1914 being the end of all times which was repeated for the year 1925...yet i came to believe well maybe this time they've got it right.. with every new watchtower, i combed over every word to find support for my change in my belief that the end was coming in fall of 1975. at the district assembly in 1975, everyone clung onto every word in the final talk.
I was nine years old, and I was at Sheyboygan. I thought it was hogwash, but the air was electric with excitement and oohs and ahs. It really impacted my life, and now my retirement savings. No college, which affected my future earnings and quality of life. Where was Mr. Sunutko when 1975 came and went, and all his hot air was just that? I'd like a piece of him for getting my parents all stirred up and refusing my scholarship!

Elderly couple living in an old Airstream, my parents studied with them when I was a child. I was told to keep my feet up off the floor because they had rats. Sometimes the lady offered to make us tea, omg. This was in northwest Indiana, by the cornfields.
