Hi BD!

my daughter is getting to the age where she recognizes a need to make some summertime money.
she wants to buy a new cell phone and a few other things, and wants to earn the money herself.
i own a small business, and i would have her help me around the office but there isn't much for her to do.
All of you have some great ideas, I and my daughter will go over them thouroughly to see which ones may be a fit for her. Thanks soo much to all of you, we really appreciate your comments.

I really need some help with this one. My daughter is getting to the age where she recognizes a need to make some summertime money. She wants to buy a new cell phone and a few other things, and wants to earn the money herself. I own a small business, and I would have her help me around the office but there isn't much for her to do. She's really good at computer related things like creating letters, building Power Point presentations, data entry (I've had her do some data entry in times past for my marketing campains) and the like. Anyhow...she and I were brainstorming the other night, and I came up with the idea of getting her some piece meal work for data entry or transcription work. You've probably heard of people doing data entry work over the web from home offices. I was hoping to find something like that, where she do could do the work via the web. She could work from my office on an extra computer and I could oversee her work. She's a great kid, very responsible. I feel terrible that I can't find anything for her to do at the office, any ideas?
Please help!!!

this has been an interesting week.
early in the week my wife started corresponding with one of her old friends.
he is no longer a witness and while i'm not sure what the catalyst was they started talking about why he left the witnesses.
Ya, what Daystar said. Sniff, sniff. That was really cool.

this is my first post and might be my only post, not sure.
i've chosen to "come out" for a moment just to talk about the 30 minute change in the public talk on sundays.
my father and brother are both elders, this change was a blow to them they enjoy giving encouraging public talks to the friends.
Ophelia,
I was soo pleased to see that you were comforted here. We, most of us have been Witnesses. I was an MS and worked so hard for the congregation, but felt very little love from the brotherhood. It felt more like I was contributing time to to a corporation, I don't feel that Jesus meant for it to be that way. He was so warm and loving to his fellow man, the congregations are lacking that terribly. Your notions of "something doesn't feel right" are very real, something is in fact wrong, trouble is, noone can put their finger on it since the Society is so tight lipped about everything.
It's no use complaining about the organization so I don't engage in that, I still respect the people there and what they're trying to accomplish. I just think there's a little to much of "pay no attention to the man behind that curtain" (- Wizard of Oz), going on. Who's at the helm, running the ship? Trouble is, noone knows.
I too wish the world could be what we all wish it could be. I too wish we could all be good friends. I too wish there were no wars and everyone had enough food and a good home to live in. I too.....wish many things! Most of all,....I wish you love and peace.

sorry to read about so many in pain and much love sent to all that are so troubled..... since i have been posting here, i have never seen so many in pain......take care we.are all here with you.. love r..
Suffering was the only thing that made me feel I was alive
Though that's just how much it cost to survive in this world
'Til you showed me how, how to fill my heart with love
How to open up and drink in all that white lovePouring down from the heaven
I haven't got time for the pain
I haven't got room for the pain
I haven't the need for the pain
Not since I've known you
I never noticed that! What's the "White Love" in her song?

morning faders, da's df's and current witnesses,.
the whole of my life in the troof was spent looking forward to the end of this wicked system.
over 30 years of waiting for jehovah to sort out the ills of mankind.
Here's the answer;
For me, this is how life works. I'm always looking for the good in everything, and discarding what I don't want from certain experiences. For example; you might go to a family reunion, and one family member is a loud mouthed drunk. You enjoyed your family reunion except for the drunk. Do you throw the whole thing out the window and say it was no good? No, you keep the good parts and discard the bad and regard it as useless. This is the decription of your life as witness, keep the good, and discard the bad. That's the only way you can move forward. You cannot think of it as wasting 30 years of your life, there were good lessons and things learned, keep them, and move on.

has anyone here thought about the possibilities of getting all of our fuel needs from the unlimited supply of hydrogen in our water?
you see, there two parts hydrogen to every single part oxygen in h2o.
what that means is, if we can extract the hydrogen from the water, we can burn it as a fuel, just like propane or gasoline.
Thanks for your input everyone. The article you posted was very informative Terry, it'll take a while to read it in it's entirety. I'm not sure what *THE* answer is, but I do know one thing, if we don't change from fossil (sp?) fuels soon, the pollution is going to get worse, not better. I'd hate to think of this prospect, but...what if the Gubment said you must have at least one electric car for every two drivers in the home, or some combination thereof. That would force CO2 emissions lower. But not a very good answer to freedom of choice. I don't know, I'm just very frustrated that we've got a lot of technology, but very little of it is being used by the general public, in large part, because it's not economically feasable at this point. But I feel this urge to *DO* something about it. Why can't we?

(Of the, I'm dreaming of big things, but not sure we can get there...class)

Dave,
Seems to me the best alternative we have, or ever will have is the electric motor. We can plug in at home, recharge and run the next day. If only a small percentage of the population, (like me, who only travel short distances to work) would use this technology, we could cut down on a lot of CO2 in the atmosphere. If we can't get Hydrogen to work safely, effectively and cheaply then I think electric cars must be the future.

PrimateDave - Thanks for your comments, I'm fairly new at the idea, please help me understand;
I don't intend for these questions to sound stupid, but there's got to be a better way than gasoline. Maybe electric is the ticket. It takes the same amount of energy to propel the car forward with electricity as it does gasoline, but... the difference is....there is no burning of a fossil fuel, hence no pollution. The same goes for Hydrogen, the byproduct of burned Hydrogen is steam, = no pollution. Or of course, unburned Hydrogen, can still be used as noted in your example. It does have to be burned as a fuel in order to produce energy. It would seem, at the end of the day, that truly "FREE" energy must come from;
