  What is your opinion of prayer?

  I have recently found myself in need of Jehovah's help, I have prayed to Him about my needs, and he has unequivically (sp?) answered my prayers. I kid you not. This is a very serious matter for me. Jehovah, as I continue to call him, definately hears my prayers. He answers without delay and I feel is eager to help those calling on him. I have had experiences in the past where the results of prayer cannot be explained any other way than the "Hand of God" was assisting me.

  I believe, I do, and I will continue to pray to Jehovah God Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth. The only thing I ashamed of, is that I don't call on him enough, thinking that I don't need his help (or maybe it's that I don't want to bother Him with my insignificant, miniscule problems) and that I can fix things on my own.

  im studing the bible w/ a jehovas witness and i love it well i want to be a jehovas witness but im still not one yet but preety soon i will so i met this guy not to long ago and hes not a jehovas witness and i really like him he doesnt know i want to be a jehovas witness yet......................... will it be bad if i date him??

  How ethical is it to sow DOUBT in the minds of sincere Jehovah's Witnesses?

  we know that we can't always take the direct approach and we know that even a short, reasonable discussion is often out of the question with jw's we may love dearly so we often try to place a little doubt in their minds.

  we want them to start questioning cherished beliefs.. is this fair of us?

  are we placing our our own agendas ahead of their needs?

  I think it should just be left alone. I don't think it's right for us to sow doubt, especially knowing how "they" feel about having doubts.

  Ever heard of Nepotism? Yes, I was working very hard for appointment as an Elder and the PO's son in law, who was starting a business and missed alot of meetings but who was also an MS, get's appointed as an elder. That sucked, I work hard, really hard. I was the kind of guy that always made myself available for whatever needed attending to, working my ass off, and another guy gets appointed because he's the PO's son in law? Tough to beat a sytem like that. So I quite.

  i'm curious to know how many people are logged on jwd at a given moment, like how many are logged on now.

  maybe simon knows.. .

  i'd say an average of 50 posters are logged on jwd right now....and probably an additional 100 more that aren't members that are reading here right now.. what's your guess?.

  i must say that she called at a very early hour this morning and i was still half asleep.
