For most of my life I've wanted to learn to play the Piano and learn to write music. My wife got me a Yamaha Keyboard for Christmas. I am finally happy to report that I have my first lesson tomorrow morning. My question is; Is there any advice anyone can give me? Or any study material in the way of websites or books? What advice would you give me to make a better musician? Any help would be really appreciated.

what will happen after armageddon!
by jinjam ini was talking to my sis, and we came up with this!
if we will be living for hundreds or thousands of years in "paradise", no death, no sickness, no war, no pestilence, no hunger," the former things will have passed away" don't remember the chapter or verse in the nwt, and what about the "raised from the dead" won't the world become overpopulated, remembered talking to my mom about it when we were little and she said it would never happen?
our reasoning

I too have thought about these many topics, the bottom line is this....we simply don't know what Jehovah has in store for us. Even if we did know, what could we do different? It makes no sense, and leads us to no conclusions to speculate. I have to admit though, it is fun to ponder the future, but the simple truth is, we just don't know.

I'm thinking Ostrich eggs for both of these bozo's houses should do the trick.

Sage, I know how you feel, I lost my best furry little friend last year. She was a great dog, she was my shadow, we had lot's of great years together, we were pals. Funny how dog's can tug at your heart strings isn't it? Well, that's just how Jehovah made them.....to be our best friends.

Kingdom News #37 update and future propaganda
by truthseeker inthis morning, the elder taking the field service group said that all placements of kn37 had to be counted, with the campaign ending on november 12.. placements after the campaign could be made, but not counted.
the service was all hype.. now, let's imagine that all 6,500,000 witnesses placed 50 tracts.
how many would they place altogether?.

What the..??? 325,000,000 tracts and 6.5 billion people on the planet??? Is that really considered a "world wide" work? I'd say it's about a 1/2% to 1%, part world work.

BlackPearl Don't come into my house you will see lots of dead things hanging on my walls. I can tell you probably have things that would bother me like posters of Rapper's or Heavy Metal bands.... Maybe a few satanic items hanging around. I do not know that you do but if I was to bet I would put money on it, am I correct?
Skyking - I think you're taking it wrong, I don't fault anyone for killing a deer or an elk. It's just not for me, I'm not into killing animals for the sport of it. On the other hand,...I won't tell you that I don't eat beef, I'm just not into killing it myself and taking proud pictures of it .
On your note regarding heavy metal bands....actually I listen to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the like and country music. No satanic images, just some nice paintings and family photographs.

My two cents worth...I don't like pictures of dead things. I think that taking pictures of things you've kiled is a little twisted. I think that people who take pictures of dead things and are proud of killing the thing being photographed are a little twisted. And finally, people who take pictures of dead animals that they hunted ought to wonder how the picture would look if the hunter were to become the hunted? I mean, really, how macho is it to kill something that had no way of defending itself?
