hello everyone.. i don't if this has been posted before.

if it has i apologize, but maybe my version will add to what is already known.. my brother is a district overseer.

the society sometimes places conferences calls to do's, co's and other overseers, especially when it is something that they do not want to put in writing.

Control, control, control. Ahem...this is pubic (I know it say's pubic not public) service announcement, we must dispense with the old light, therefore, old light cannot be sold or traded, it can only be returned to us for old light storage or old light destruction. But...we'll gladly take your contributions in the form of Real Estate, Jewelry, Stocks or whatever else you've got.

so many people here and so little knowledge of jehovah's witnesses.

there are still people here associating jehovah's witnesses with the watchtower society when that is not the case.

so many people look to the past not the future.

i saw similarities between the peoples temple and life as a witness.

one was when the siren would go off and the announcement would be for everyone to gather at the pavillion.

that was kind of like when we are suppose to have a special announcement.

i've been posting here for quite a long time, so long in fact that it just doesn't feel right that my wife isn't a part of it.

earlier today i created an account for her with the username heron, she'll know why.

i'm not sure if my wife will ever post here but i would feel much more comfortable knowing she is aware that i do.. this is the one post i am going to ask her to read.. so, i'd really appreciate it if you could say hello to my lovely wife.

First Piano Lesson Tomorrow!! Need a littel advice.

for most of my life i've wanted to learn to play the piano and learn to write music.

my wife got me a yamaha keyboard for christmas.

i am finally happy to report that i have my first lesson tomorrow morning.

Wow! Where do I start?! I want to thank all of you for your support and suggestions. Even a couple of Piano teachers here have had some great advice. I won't give up, that is my promise to all of you. I think my drive to do this is so strong that I CAN'T give up, even if I felt like it. I love music so much, I couldn't stop now. I'll keep everyone up to date on my progress. I wonder if I could record and download my music to a website, sort of liking keeping a blog. Wonder how though? Anyone know? Wouldn't if fun to upload my progress on a weekly or monthly basis to record my progress? Anyone have any ideas? BP

Thanks for the encouragement. The Keyboard does have a port for a computer connection, I can record my progress via computer and compare progress from time to time. That's a great idea, and thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks 30girl, I'll ocassionally report back here with my progress and frustrations. But thanks for the advice, I'll practice every day.
