what specifically made you stop believing in god and the bible?
was it a steady road of doubts or it was reading one book or one major event that made you realize the bible was not what it's claimed to be?.

The Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins. That book explained evolution in such an easy to understand way that it made perfect sense. Once I realized that evolution was true, Christianity could no longer stand. No creation = no Adam & Eve = no original sin/fall from grace = no need for a "ransom" or a "redemption from sin", and the entire basis of Christianity falls apart.
Not sure if what I believe now could be considered "athism" or not, but I sure ain't Christian.

i am not much of a reader as i have two many distractions, but i fancy a challenging read, so please list any book that has changed your entire world view on everything.
i remember as a teenager buying at a yard sale, norman vincent peales " the power of positive thinking" and at the time that had a big impact on me.
but i am a little bit more in to " realistic positive thinking" now..

america had passed into a new era that would lead to major changes.
