Made-Up Rules Dubs Try To Impose On Each Other

this is in reference to the thread about dubs not having pets.

although, not a rule from the borg there are ones who would say you should not have pets.

can you think of other silly made-up rules that someone tried to impose on you?

My ex jdubhub used to always tell me I couldn't have a man visiting in the hosue without a witness, even if my kids were in the same room.......WTF? What am I going to do, (even though NOTHING!) in front of my kids? you can't be serious?! What ever, good riddens!

Quick survey for apostates - please everyone just yes or no answer

do the other witnesses with whom you associate/once associated in general know that you are an apostate or have apostate inclinations?

the reason for the phrase "in general" is that it may be the case that one or two close friends know how you feel, but others in general do not.

in my own case, one other witness knows, but no one else, so i would answer the survey question with a "no".

each and every day we are faced with situations which call on our morals.

today i had a friend aproach me to say he's met a married woman and what did i think.

topic: is it ok to be gay does god approve of this.. i have a brother which i love and he recently came out of the closet, realy i'm not a baptized jw nor publisher but i do go to some of their talks with my mom and father.

i feel sorry for my brother because my parents oppuse it really bad... what do i do???

support him, in a way i think actualy know its wrong you choose your sexuality and he use to date alot of girls.

Exactly KW, I feel the same way. I'm sure there are ones that choose to be, which is where you get into the bysexual thing, that's a whole other situation. But people that are homesexual that truely fall in love with a significant other of the same sex, and are dedicated to them, has to make you wonder. It is obviously the way they were born, genetically
