What Would It Take For Your JW Family/Friend To Get Out?

is there anything that might get your witness relative or friend out of the "truth"??

Having them tell my mom she couldn't talk to her dad (he's a 7th day adventist) anymore. I think she would realize that the religion is stupid. Although when she couldn't talk to me anymore, she really didn't care. But who knows if that will happen.

Sneak attacks continue it's starting to piss me off

here i am three months out and they still wont leave me alone.

they came by three times last week.

I dont think as long as they don't see you doing anything terrible in "Jehovah's eyes" that you will be ok. Just tell them that you wnat to be left alone for a while to get your stuff together.

I think that they are most afraid of the young not being in the religion. Once the young people start falling out there will be no huge basis for them to exist with. There will be no reproduction in the religion and then it will be no more.

Anyone feeling the Memorial pressure?

for those who are fading, do you feel the pressure building as the memorial approaches?

family members who otherwise are busy with their own interests suddenly start paying more attention, dropping hints and holding their breath as it were.

then there are the invitations.

My mom has been pressuring me to try and pioneer the month of April. She said it would be an excellent opportunity to share with the friends and Jehovah would be so proud. Ha! I told her that with my school and my 3 jobs... that I would not have time to pioneer. And then I said that I am sorry, but it just doesn't fit into my schedule.... she had a fit! Oh well... I tuned her out...
