  Education Issues.......Help!

  i was out last night with a jw but who is not attending.

  he is in his early 30s, is on his second marriage but now separated.

  It's never too late for college! Never! Your post reminded me of something I saw the other night while in a local office store. I walk in and there is this brother I had known since I was 10, still mopping floors, Now, I'm disrespecting those in the janitorial work, but I remembered when this brother got married and immediately had kids and started working for a brother that owned a janitorial bussiness. He was a very smart guy. Shit, he could have had a phD by now....

  It's a real damn shame some of these dubs have so much on their hands that they can copy this crap out of the literature and post it on the web. I always had a hard time understanding the organization Jesus supposedly works through has to constantly change things ("new light"). When I read the new testament,, I don't remember Jesus being so inconsistent..

  ST, you seem to be focusing entirely too much on figuring out the unknown, instead on focusing right now on what's important to yourself and the rest of humanity. Use a little though and reason on what you think on your personal philosophy. Quit asking everybody else to form it for you...

  How sweet...Not knowing when family dies....

  ahhh, just blowing off a little steam here...perhaps many of you have been through the same shit.

  i knew for the past couple of years that my uncle in mobile was dying of cancer.

  well, the last time my mother and i talked (around october i think)she said, "well, we were in mobile all last weekend for uncle *****'s funeral".

  Ahhh, just blowing off a little steam here...perhaps many of you have been through the same shit. I knew for the past couple of years that my uncle in Mobile was dying of cancer. Well, the last time my mother and I talked (around october I think)she said, "well, we were in Mobile all last weekend for Uncle *****'s funeral". Thanks alot for telling me. Now I'm just curious who else has died. This is the shit that gets to me the most. It makes me appreciate the bumper sticker, "Be nice to your kids, they may choose a nursing home" even more...

  Guilt over Self-Pleasuring as a Dub. You?

  It may not be in recent literature, but the majority of witnesses I knew equated Onanism with masturbation. Either which way, they said, you were "spilling your seed." Of course, you could argue against this due to the fact that they say self pleasure for women is wrong also. Plus birth control is a "matter of conscience". Hell, all I know is that if more JWs used birth control, the world would be a much better place....
