  Most Ridiculous Thing You've Ever Been Counseled On

  i'm sure topics like this have already come up but they tend to get hilarious with the absolute absurdity that goes on in the kh.

  i was once counseled for not shaving after two days.

  i was also counseled by a sister for eating lucky charms cereal.

  For going braless when I was a bouncy 16 yr old,and for wearing black eyeliner{looked like a prostitute}.Also for listening to John Denver,cause he had said that he hated Jw's.I guess my Alister Crowley books didnt catch The elders eye...hehhehheh

  What good comes from joining a community like this for support/therapy?

  okay so if anyone can give some imput on this, i would really appreciate hearing different opinions!.

  (its downright impossible to make decisions, big or small, these days....sigh).

  ive been thinking alot about the possible consequences and outcome of joining in on a community like this and using it as a form of therapy or a support group type setting when struggling over the witnesses.

  Its good to know that your situation it not unique.Many have been there,and been wildly successful in getting out.And you wont melt the first time you make an antijehovah statement! Plus,there are a bunch of very cool people on this forum.You picked a good one.

  WT comment 'people who leave the org who seem happy are fooled by satan?!?'

  this was a comment made at the past wt study (6/27).

  from what i know the wt from sunday had something to do with christ (just read title of blondies comments.

  so what was the purpose of such a comment?

  so,why dont they all just wait for the "new system"surely,jehovahs wouldnt allow 350lbs+ women to suffer too long,would he?

  for that matter,if it is so close,why even have any medical attention at all?.

  Right on Scully! I agree.I am sort of curious abvout the ever changing new light about the"new system".Gawd,when I was a kid,in the borg,you couldnt even dye your hair! The surgery is a brilliant example of how our world is gettingf better,IMHO.It give us a few more options in our lives.

  i recently found out something interesting about an elder from my former congregation.

  this guy was a former bethelite, and very much a company man.

  a friend of mine switched congs because he believed(and rightly so) that this elder had it in for him.

  Thanks ambersun! It is horrid,not having my dad,but it is one less string attatching me to the dubs.He was a firm believer,and Im happy for him.It made him happy,but he never could accept my rejection of it.Now,I dont have to explain it anymore.All I have are the memories,and I choose to remember only the good stuff..

  I dont know about anyone else,but,even tho my dad died in Dec,I am having the BEST SUMMER OF MY LIFE!!!!!! Guess Satan is working overtime on me. Seroiusly,it might be aftershock,but I am sooo blissed out this summer.Everything really is beautiful and cool.
