  Things we never told the public.....

  i thought it would be interesting to discuss the things we believed as jw's, but were kind of embarassed about and didn't tell the public about, since it would make us look ridiculous.......... one thing i can think of is the idea that only jw's will make it through armageddon.

  everyone else would be destroyed.

  i would never tell anyone that even though we all believed it.

  well i've just had another visit with a eldurrrr.

  i haven't been sleeping well.

  i finally get a good sleep going and a couple hours later my stepdad wakes me up to tell me i have a visitor.

  brother smart: the serious brother who thinks that he is an intellectual and believes he is "smart"sister armageddon: the sister who says "armageddon!!!

  " after any little thing in the newschase: the little boy who is always running around and crawling under the seats no matter what the parents sayjohnny: the little boy who keeps on leaving his snot on the sides of the bathroom stallbrother squeaky: the one in charge of cleaning who tells everyone what to do, but just stands there and conversessister coquette: the congregation slut... or as close to a slut as she can get... flirting with every brother... oh yeah and she was raised in the "truth"brother borrow: the brother who owes everyone money... and still asks to borrow from othersgreg: the boy or girl whose parents are so restrictive that the kid can't watch anything higher than g-rated moviesstormy: the teenage boy or girl who you could bet does stuff behind the scenes, so to speaki'm just speaking from past memories.

  And the young "suckup brother"who attatched himself to one of the elders,like a Robin to a Batman.And the ones,male or female who smelled soooooo bad when they stood up to sing or pray,that you always tried to sit far far away.

  Why do JW's become so "active and spiritual" during the overseer's visit?

  I have "sacred elders notes" that the co's left w/the elders after their visits,admonishing them for this and that.Mostly for lack of zeal and noy putting "spiritual things first".Guess most folks are busy feeding kids and not visiting congo's ,being fed,{they actually have their dietary requirements outlined b4 they arrive}and getting buttkissed to have much Dub zeal.Oh,and the "military style' haircuts that the younger brothers were sporting.They were asking the elders to pray on it and make a decision as to the spirituality of such worldly pursuits.

  "my sister's keeper" was a real tearjerker too..

  Big Fish,I cant even finish it.Cold Mountain was so sad,but so well done,with lots of sub stories,that I loved it,one of my all time favorite movies and books.Big Fish tho,so sad....

  Secret elders meeting in the end of 2010

  all the elders in my circuit are driving across the state for a big elders meeting.

  and the ministerial servants have to do it on sunday.

  evidentally they were all told to study certain parts of their new book before going.. .

  Are You For Or Against The Death Penalty?

  i clearly am for it if it's proven without a doubt that a person murdered another in cold blood.

  recently, in connecticut, a man was convicted of killing 2 young girls and their mother.

  the animal raped them and almost killed the defenseless husband/father who could do nothing while these atrocities were being carried out in his own home!.

This man has rotted in prison fpr 22 years.The D.A.knows who did it,but they needed to pin it on someone immediatly.Later,when they got the results of the D.N.A. test back,they refused to use it,saying that "just because there was another mans dna under her fingernails,dosent mean that Dennis didnt do it".Horrible.But YES,I am pro death penalty,if the proof is absolute.

  What Makes The Apostle Paul Better Than Me?

  one thing in particular has bothered me since well before i left the wtbts .

  it's been years since i read anything in the bible, other than quotes on this board, so i had to look up these scriptures online.. before the apostle paul became a christian, he was, by his own admission, an asshole.

  galatians 1:13-14 (new international version).
