  what is the wt's stance on dubs visiting historic churches?

  i drives me crazy when jw's go on tours of historic churches, the vatican, or mosques .

  they go in the church take pics, and oooo and ahhhhh over the buildings.. why the f_ _ _k are they expressing awe and wonder at what they believe to be satan's world headquarters .. don't they know jehovah is soon about to destroy all these architectural wonders.. jw relative has just come back from visiting the vatican.. stupid cult aaahhh !!.

  A hell of a new years day.

  my wife and i went to the store and when we got back i took the stuff in to the house and put it on the table.

  i waited a few minutes and wondered why she hadn't come in yet.

  i went out the front door and she was laying in the yard, she had passed out and couldn't get up.

  you spent months,years or even decades as a christian.you sacrificed everything for god,gave him everything you had,you would speak every day for him to others and would live as a person dedicated to god.what did you receive in return after all your efforts?did he help you when you were in need?if yes,are you 100% sure that he was the one who helped you?could you feel his holy spirit in your life?.

  p.s:this topic has nothing to do with the org.

  i am talking exclusively about god and your relationship with him.

  watch 1974 p.167 "by disobediently overindulging in food and making a glutton of himself, he fails to show love for jehovah...if in the presence of others does he selfishly ignore there needs and take more than his share?

  is he grossly overwieght but shows no restraint at all as to food, habitually gorging himself?

  does he feel un-comfortable, perhaps even sick because of eating too much ...glutton has no place in god's congregation...they will not inherit god's kingdom...".

  I have elders notes regarding this.They repeatedly discuss This "sister's" weight problem and that she dosent deal with it.They always had different elders and such counsel her...Didnt say if they df'd her or not,but it was certainly on their agenda and minds.

And Ill bet that 99% of us on this forum has had almost the EXACT same thing happen.In my case,my sister had always been jealous of me,and now she finally had an excuse to act out on it.In Jehovahs name of course.Sounds like that might be going on w/you bit.Were you the pretty/smart one?Now is her chance to "even the score'.You cant change others ignorance sweetie,just do what makes YOU happy,and remember,"Armageddon is JUST around the corner"! lol
