A Memo for my JW dad
by Lilycurly ini have been daed for months but only recently, after having asked every and each person he could ask (even writting a letter to the wt), my dad decided he couldn't talk to me anymore.
it has hit my non-jw mother very hard that her husband could do that.
she cries a lot, but we are trying to be strong and hold ourselves together, and try in anyway we can to make him open his eyes..... tomorrow, i have decided to leave the crisis of conscience book on his desk with a with page on it, written on big black letters that will say.... "i was wondering if every man would be capable of shunning his own children and break up his family because of a group of men.. then i realised that no, some men have chosen to open their eyes and *truly* follow jesus, example...... with love, your daughter".

lillycurley,im going thru this w/my parents too.the recent elders manual,titled'something,'your sheep',says that it is basicly up to ones OWN conscience how to treat a close disfellowshipped relative.also that one could NOT be disfellowshipped for associating w/this person as long as 'spiritual matters" were not discussed,and that the original disfellowshipping offense{ie.adultery,theiving,lusting after johnny depp} is clearly not condoned..email me if you wanna talk about this..its been the bain of my life as well,as i love my parents dearly..

What Things Did You Think Were "Demonized"?
by minimus ineverything, when i was growing up was connected to "demonism".
handwriting analysis was borderline.
wind chimes would bring the demons right to your porch!

the worst thing is that they are making life hard for my very elderly parents.i am the only one who cares about\and for them.my sister,a devout[?] jw,and her child abusing lowlife scum of a husband,a ministerial servant,say they wont help them if i am in the picture.yet in the past,when i havent been in the pic,they have ignored them...also now,as my siters kids are one by one,cheating on their wives.and leaving them and other crimes,the big issue is that its all because of my infulence so many years ago,b4 i was df'd...my family has been almost totaly destroyed by the organization,and ill be damned if im going to let them get my parents away form me too..

I hated it!!!we live in a rural area where everyone let their mean dogs wander free..cant tell you how many jw's i saw get attacked by dogs.and back in school on monday am,the evil classmates would taunt and tease me..i was the only jw in the school..i HATED it.....

Several years ago,a man in Belfast Maine died of a type of leukemia that was totaly treatable w/bone marrow and blood transfusions.L potter by trade,he opted to 'die faithful'.big hero..left a widow and three kids.jws loved it.Couldnt stop babbeling about his 'faith'..Somethings wrong here..Now,the new buzz is that transfusions might be ok?..Too little too late..

What were you disfellowshipped for?
by aquagirl injust curious,if anyone dosent mind sharing..myself,id been out in the real world for 11 years,married twice,etc etc,and the 'trio of guys in bad suits' came over one night and told me that i was being charged w/adultery and fornication..my then boyfriend,and i laughed so hard that we forgot to sic the dog on 'em...funny,cause one of the guys id lived with,a few years prior,an elders son,not baptized,but in good standing,never got even so much as a stern talking to..i remember one of the last meetings i went to as a teenager.the 'trio" came to my parents house and said that i wasnt to come to meetings braless anymore,that it was disturbing the brothers and making them have impure thoughts..and that by me being in a band,in the 'world',i was opening myself to satan...what a bunch of weirdos.especialy since one of my "fondest" memories is of being out in feield service,alone w/an elder,and him having his pants open in the car,and his penis sticking out the whole time.i was like 10,and wasnt sure exactly what the issue was,guess i was a bit naive,but he kept touching it and looking at me..this was a big cheese elder at the time too..very highly thought of and all..again,what a bunch of wierdos....
