meeting clothes+uncomfortable and ugly..towards the end i started favoring indian black guaze shirts w/those wraparound indian skirts.the brothers objected.they didnt like a well developed 15 year old going braless either..sissies...

all my meeting clothes were hand-me-downs from other brothers.
i always hated getting hand-me-downs from the fat jw kids who were older than me.

Anyone feeling the Memorial pressure?
by atypical infor those who are fading, do you feel the pressure building as the memorial approaches?
family members who otherwise are busy with their own interests suddenly start paying more attention, dropping hints and holding their breath as it were.

im in a band..im sorta thinking of how much fun it would be to show up with my whole band as my entourage.we'd behave of course.well.maybe not the rhythm guitarist..i wonder,is leopard skin still frowned upon by the gb?..my folks give me a fancy paper invitation every year..maybe this year Ill surprise them!!!!!

Locks of Love--Can you ever imagine JWs doing such a thing?
by rebel8 intoday hundreds of people are volunteering their hair for an org that provides wigs to cancer pts.
the today show in nyc had a few folks allow their long hair to be cut for donation and there are hundreds in another locale doing the same.
there are even little kids doing it!.

my name is, mike warren... that's my real age in my profile...& yes that's my real pic.
though i was never baptized, i was raised in the silly religion... my parents started their study in early 1974 (at least i got 1birthday &1 christmas, not that i remember...) mom was baptized in less than a year after she started her study... it took my father about 7-8 more years to give up smoking, but he still made all the meetings & ruled with a leather belt.. i also have a younger sister that has faded (she got baptized).

by Clam inmy 13 year old daughter has a jw friend in her class at school.
the other day her jw friend's parents apparently made an announcement to her and her 10 year old brother that this year they would be celebrating christmas for the first time.
there could be a number of reasons behind this of course, including a bit of fabrication due to wishful thinking.

Are the demons harassing you?
