This board has been a gift to me for sure.its nice to know that there are so many others that have trodden the same path and have come to the same realization.stick around on the forum,itll make you laugh and sometimes make you get really quiet...these are pretty cool folks....

My Whole Life Seems Like A Fabrication

my sincere thanks to those who have come before me, shown me that i'm not alone, that i'm not nuts and not a loser.
i was raised a hoho, pioneered my best years away, i married a nice brother, my dad was an elder, one or of both my parents have been pioneers for 30 years+, we hosted bethel speakers and gb members in our home, my parents have had numerous circuit ass.

A Bad experience with JW is a permit for SIN?
by El Mariachi ini've been reading some sad experinces here... i dont see anyone talking about the bible... only how misserables the organization made their lives... ok ...so because of that...now i have permission to smoke marijuana and commit fornication?
this sounds pretty much like aa... and everybody having his/her personal "superior power" who is giving them the permit to do whatever they want...
i've been df for 4 years now and also dont agree with some jw teachings... why instead of blaming the wt for everything dont we look for the real truth in the bible and make things right.

Leaving the meeting early
by beautifulisfree inwhy is it that when ever you would leave the meetings any earlier then when they were all done...did you feel like everyone was watching you or even sometimes guilty?
sometimes, i would leave at 'halftime' (at the second song) either to go to work or just because i was having trouble dealing with the b.s.
and of course everyone was nosey and would ask my elder dad after the meetings where i went as though i was off to commit some horrible crime.

We NEVER left early,and always arrived a half an hour early...man'oman it was some hard getting up for school on friday mornings after a long thursday nite school and the other one.and then 45 minutes of 'fellowship.and then 45 minute drive home..man'oman,is my life good now...sigh..sure dont miss that crap..or all of the 'did you see what sister so and so was wearing?" stuff...whew...

I dont view myelf as a sinner.i dont view most folks as sinners unless they do something very hurtful to an individual w/prethoughtout malice..i guess i just dont like the term'sinner'...its another one of mans stupid inventions..

What disfellowshippable offenses have you done for the day?
by ColdRedRain intoday, as i celebrated the last day in the first half of my 20's, i started doing all sorts of sinful things.
i have done the following disfellowshippable offenses i've smoked weed, i've been on an unchaperoned date (with the most wonderful person in the world, my beautiful and still charming ex girlfriend), i've gotten drunk, talked to a disfellowshipped person, and to boot, i'm on an apostate site.

My JW sister is a Lesbian!!!!Yay!!!!!!
by aquagirl inyep,thats the latest buzz making its way about..she and her 'friend' are both long time dubs,and both have kids and all.my sisters friends daughter got df'd and then seduced my sisters son and he left his wife and small son to live w/and marry her..now my sis is being counciled for her alledged "lesbianism"..oh,mighty karma!!!

yah,unfortunitly,since im df'd my sister has the right to ignore me in a room if need be..and she has,at my dads hospital bed a few months ago..wonder if she was listening to some kd lang on the way up there???lol....anyway,she wont talk to or aknowledge me at all,so all i {and anyone else for that matter},have heard are assumptions..unless they get some tapes or 3 eye witnesses..altho elders reproofing one is a bad sign i think...really tho,i think it would be a bold step on her part to suddenly at 50 something{she is much much older than me,heehee},get a spine ans make some decisions w/out consulting the watchbabble first..i dont mean to offend any of you all.i have no ill will towards any sexual orientation,its just interesting how the worm turns sometime....

First encounter with a Scientologist
by glitter ini was on a mad-dash daytrip to edinburgh today, and in the morning we were up on the royal mile.
being the fringe we quickly attracted about eight trees' worth of advertising.
most of the people flyering were dressed in costumes or in t-shirts advertising the shows, but some were in ordinary clothes.

I know,she needs someone who will not treat her as she treated me...im here at the ready if she calls..since im not a christian,i can help her lovingly w/out prejudice..she and her ladyfriend are welcome to stay here in my guest cabin anytime.ill keep you posted on her progress out of the sticky mire..i am so pleased that she is realizing that she dosent have to believe everything that shes been told...
