My sisters wedding...

when my jw niece got married,i got an invitation.i sent a gift{the wedding night in a really nice hotel}..the day b4 the wedding,i was informed that while they accepted and appreciated the gift,that i wasnt allowed at their wedding after all.so sorry!!!!id paid for the room in cash,but if i hadnt,id have canceled it..nice folks,eh?probably just like what jesus would have done,no?

Have you changed your mind about ABORTION?
by nicolaou ini'm not after a discussion on the rights or wrongs on abortion, what i'm asking is whether or not your views have evolved over time.. perhaps leaving the watchtower was enough to allow your true feelings on abortion to find expression.
maybe abortion is one of those subjects where you still find yourself in agreement with your old jw self.
did becoming a mother change your perspective in any way or solidify your views?.

sorry,but i think that there are WAY too many people in this world.humans are soo arrogant,that they think they need to fill up every hole in the universe,w/themselves..i dont know if id have an abortion,but i sure as hell would want to have the option to.if not,what next?no birth control?for fear of eliminating possible future little republicans?..im prochoice.and proeducation..i also think that just cause you can reproduce,dosent mean that you should. or even have the right to.if you cant take care of your spawn,that means that it will be someone elses responsibility,and that isnt what i signed up for.see,if i had designed humans,id be more like a bird.if you WANT spawn,than its work.you need to sit on your eggs for a month and prove that you want it..hiho..blame it all on flawed design!

one in one out...odds of staying married...how long til you know?

many here are still married, one in one out.

staying married is not easy,even in the best of circumstances.however,when one of the couple becomes superstitious and starts believing that a goodwill bought bureau might attract evil spirits,and that getting a birthday card from a friend is evil,i think that would be extremely difficult,maybe even undoable..hell,,maybe im just a quitter at heart,but i just think that life is tooo short to have it be bad and not sweet,ya know?

Who is the Lord of lords?
by Antredd inin order to understand who the lord of lords is, some groundwork on god being one needs to be established as biblical truth.
if the bible in deuteronomy says that god is one, and that hes the lord of lords, then would it make sense to say if there were two lord of lords, then one of them would have a lord that he wasnt the lord over?.
if the two lord of lords were equal, then they both would have a lord which doesnt make sense and contradicts the bible about god-jehovah being just one lord of lords.
