again,i want to tell you all how great it is to have you all here.its been an interesting year,with my mom moving in w/me permanently and dealing w/her leaving the jw's {at 83!!!

}.its been nice to come in here and read what yo are all up to,thanks to mr flipper and his beautiful mrs flipper,dreamgolfer and all of the others who have made this place so interesting for me.i think we are the true embodiment of what the dubs wish they had.unconditional frienmdship and support.so,i hope you all have a wonderful christmas,kwanza,festivus,or whatever,and remember,if anyone is ewver in maine?usa?let me know.id love to meet you!i live you all..even you,shamus!!!!!!lol!.

January 2013 warns parents to resist contact with df'd children again

see page 15-16. full of "straw men" like:.

* do not blame yourself it is the child that jehovah blames - parents do not care whose fault it is they just want their child not to be killed by god.

* it is ok for parents to hope their df'd child returns - was anybody really asking if that was wrong?.

Thanks for sharing this info.His letter to you is ful of the same tired old dogma that the 'dubs have been using for decades.You know what?Some folks will just never get it.And they have no one to blame but themselves..Im sorry that you lost a friend,but there are a lot of fine folks{yes,WORLDLY ONES!!!} out there that would love to make a new friend..Maybe its time to cut bait...Its hard.I know,but,dont let it drag you down,You have chosen to enjoy your life.Me too.Nothing wrong with that.If I were a god? I would want people to enjoy their lives,and not impose some false 'yoke' upon themselves..Thanks for sharing! I hope you find some peace!

i am around 40 years old and i only remember 2 childhood toys.

one was a batman thing that did not fly.

i was traumatised.

My mother passed away this morning...

for any old-school ex-jws here that remember my many posts about my abusive jw mother and my sister committing suicide because of it...she passed away this morning because she began to bleed out and refused a transfusion.

she had been in the hospital for a month.

it appears she suffered a stroke and wasn't found by the brothers & sisters for three days (they missed her at the meetings).
